- Director of Client Services
Amanda Williamson leads the client services coordinators and optimization team. She is one of the more familiar faces across our client base thanks to her roles in marketing, implementation, sales, and product management over the past eight years with AccuReg. Her mission is to ensure each encounter with client services and our technology is a gold star experience.
Amanda graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Her passion for healthcare, patient access, and the revenue cycle led her to get CHAM certified in 2015.

Brian Fulford has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and has spent the last 10 years in healthcare-related IT businesses working with 270/271 eligibility data sets, claims status and patient access related workflows. Prior to working with healthcare data, Brian worked in banking data and hardware/network design. As Vice President of IT, Brian evaluates new technologies and how they can be applied to making AccuReg work harder and smarter for our clients. He leads a team of developers who build innovative tools that empower patient access teams to impact the revenue cycle.

Carole Hess joined Database Solutions in 2009 after nearly 20 years of senior accounting and financial management experience. Previously, she directed operations for the US subsidiary of a German CAD/CAM software developer, and earlier in her career, Carole held an executive finance and human resources position with Kinko's Copies prior to its merger with Federal Express. Using a back-to-basics approach, Carole is responsible for developing financial systems and personnel functions to support the company's rapid growth and unique company culture.

Clint brings over 17 years of healthcare experience to AccuReg. With a drive and passion for results and the goal of serving the patient, Clint is ever focused on doing what's right and moving the needle. With experience on all sides of the healthcare spectrum (payer, provider and partner), Clint provides unique insight and experience to any organization he is affiliated with.
A graduate from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, Clint holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. Clint's career includes numerous leadership roles, including COO of a 10-clinic system, Vice President of Sales, and Vice President of Business Development. Clint also holds the HFMA certification of Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP).

Darlene Wixon, CHAM, leads the pre-registration and authorization teams. Darlene is an experienced patient access director, is Epic Certified, and spearheaded the formation of and served as the first president of the Mississippi Association of Healthcare Access Management.
David Peterson brings more than 20 years of experience as a healthcare and technology executive and leader. Prior to AccuReg, Peterson was Chief Marketing Officer at two leading healthcare companies, Change Healthcare and SpecialtyCare, where he transformed marketing functions into strategic drivers of growth. Additionally, he has held leadership roles in market strategy and research while at Ceridian. His metrics-based approach to increase brand awareness and drive high quality sales pipelines has built his reputation as a growth-focused leader.
Peterson earned a degree in Economics from St. Olaf College and studied internationally at the University of Oslo in Norway.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Ian Whelan has lived in the United States since 1996. Before moving to the states, he spent 13 years working in international finance with various FTSE 100 companies in London. Much of his experience in North America has been within the shipping industry, most recently as SVP Operations for the North American Division of Inchcape Shipping Services and also as their CFO for the Americas, Europe and North Africa. Previously, he was the owner and CEO of a company providing software solutions for ship owners. He has a degree in Law from University College Dublin, a Post Graduate in Marketing and is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). Ian joined AccuReg in February of 2015 as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, bringing a wealth of experience from both a finance and operational perspective.

Jason Krause has over 15 years of experience in the IT Industry. Since 2011, Jason has worked in the Healthcare IT sector, with a focus on Revenue Cycle applications and best practices. Jason joined AccuReg in 2014 and he currently serves as Director of Research Analytics. In this role, Jason and his team provide Healthcare Data Intelligence with the goal of denial prevention and improved efficiency for our clients. In addition, his team is responsible for Payment Estimation Accuracy, and ongoing payer requirements research.
Melissa has been working as a member of revenue cycle teams since 2006 and served as Patient Access Director from 2008 until 2017. She currently serves as Vice President of Implementation at AccuReg. Prior to moving into hospital revenue cycle management, Melissa started her career in information technology, holding positions in healthcare, law enforcement and political action committee organizations. In addition to being an active member of HFMA and NAHAM, she is a Microsoft Certified Professional, a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and HFMA CRCR certified. Her professional associations have exposed her to industry leaders and given her the opportunity to promote revenue cycle leading practices and the use of metrics to affect change within their organizations.
Paul Shorrosh has over 20 years of hands-on revenue cycle management experience. He holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration and IT from the University of Connecticut and an MSW in Healthcare from the University of Alabama. Seeing the disconnect between the front and back end of his departments, Paul developed a way to automate the manual QA process to report hundreds of common registration error types back to registrars so they could self-correct prior to billing. The tool was so successful that it is now used in hundreds of facilities and clinics across the country. Paul is Founder and CEO of AccuReg, serves as the Industry Standards Committee Chair for NAHAM and continues his mission to impact hospital financial performance by transforming and empowering patient access teams.

Ryan Howell brings more than 20 years of experience as a healthcare and software technology leader. He has held senior leadership roles throughout his career and is an expert in SaaS. Howell has led product management with Change Healthcare, Experian Health and MedHOST, where he transformed products into growth engines by satisfying customer needs and exceeding expectations. His passion for product management, user experience and patient engagement helps build a better revenue cycle that costs less and captures more revenue for providers while enhancing the patient financial experience.
Howell earned a degree in Hospital Administration from Eastern Michigan University and took masters courses in Health Administration at George Washington University.
Scott Dalgety leads our client services and support teams. He has more than 20 years of experience in information technology and process engineering. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Information Systems and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Mobile. His passion is providing convenience to the client and efficiently delivering simple translations and solutions to the everyday technical challenges.

Shane Feather leads AccuReg's Clearinghouse Team as the primary architect for the organization's EDI and transactional infrastructure. He has worked in software and technology for over 25 years. Shane's background in software development is diverse and includes the banking, security, ecommerce, and ISP industries. For the last 15 years, he has worked almost exclusively in Healthcare IT.

With a degree in Computer Information Science from the University of South Alabama, Shannon Milhouse has more than 23 years of experience in information technology, including banking, industrial, insurance, and healthcare industries, and has spent the last 12 years focused on Health IT and the revenue cycle. Today, Shannon leads the Web Development Team at AccuReg and brings with him a passion for helping hospitals and health systems improve efficiencies and processes using innovative and intelligent technology solutions.
