Adrienne Paliyath

Adrienne graduated the Masters of Physiotherapy program at McMaster University in 2011 and is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University where she received a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology and Physical Education in 2008. She has additional clinical experience as a Kinesiologist (2008-2009), working both in long term care homes and in a gym setting with personal trainers and other health care professionals. Adrienne has worked at different physiotherapy clinics in Guelph, Waterloo and Cambridge and has worked at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on all floors, has successfully completed her Intermediate Manual Therapy Examination through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and has also completed coursework on shoulder disorders and post surgical rehab, post concussion syndrome, chronic pain and sensitized nervous systems, the use of tape for therapeutic benefits, McKenzie Part A: lumbar spine and McGill Level 1 - building the ultimate back. Adrienne has also worked with a variety of post surgical patients at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on the rehab unit as well as the ICU and Emergency Department. Adrienne has been a certified Pelvic Health Physiotherapist since 2015. She has completed Levels 1-3 through Pelvic Health Solutions and has completed a variety of courses on diastasis recti, pregnancy and postpartum care, Piston Science, mobilization of visceral fascia, cesarean births, spinal manual therapy for pelvic health and pelvic organ prolapse and the female athlete. She treats both males and females for a variety of pelvic health concerns including bowel and bladder issues, pregnancy and postpartum issues, perimenopause and menopause pelvic health issues, post prostatectomy pelvic health issues and pelvic pain. Adrienne is a strong proponent of evidence-based care and believes in exercise as medicine.

Kendra Dundas

Kendra is a 2002 graduate of McMaster University with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy . Kendra also completed degrees at the University of Toronto in Master of Science, Department of Medical Biophysics in Cancer Research (2000) and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Waterloo (1996). Kendra has also been involved in teaching, mentoring and examining physiotherapy students for a number of years through the McMaster University Physiotherapy program. Kendra has a strong interest in manual therapy and successfully completed her Intermediate and Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy degree through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Orthopedic Division with certification in Spinal Manipulation in 2009. As well, Kendra has certification in acupuncture and intramuscular stimulation. She completed her acupuncture training through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI) and is certified in Gunn IMS. Additionally, Kendra has completed coursework in introductory and advanced vestibular rehabilitation, management of post-concussion symptoms, muscle imbalance syndromes, mobilization and sensitization of the nervous system, assessment and treatment of shoulder dysfunctions, and Kinesio-tape. Kendra believes in a client centred approach and enjoys treating a variety of conditions and injuries using manual therapy techniques, dry needling (when appropriate), client education and exercise prescription. More recently, Kendra has developed an interest in women's health including pelvic floor dysfunctions, pregnancy and postpartum conditions and how they affect the pelvis, hip and low back. Kendra has recently completed courses in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Level 1-2 through Pelvic Health Solutions. She is certified as a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and can provide treatment for a variety of pelvic health conditions including Diastasis Rectus Abdominis, pelvic pain and bowel and bladder dysfunction including incontinence. Kendra plans to further her training in this area in the near future.

Scott Gallagher

Scott Gallagher is a Certified Athletic Therapist with over 20 years of clinical and field experience. Scott's early years as an Athletic Therapist saw him working with the athletes in organizations such as University of Guelph, University of Waterloo, Ryerson University, Conestoga College, Cambridge Supersonics Soccer Club, Montreal Express Lacrosse, Tri-City Outlaws Football, and Fergus Highland Rugby. Scott regularly hones his high skills at elite athletic events like the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games, Canadian PGA Championships, World Junior & Canadian Figure Skating Championships, Jeux de la Francophonie, Canadian World Amateur Wrestling Trials, Canadian Racquetball Championships, and the Canadian Road Nationals Cycling Championships. A lifelong learner, Scott is continually improving and broadening his skill-set through courses and workshops. After his oldest son's first concussion, Scott delved into the area of brain injury through sport and has been working with doctors in the area to provide baseline concussion testing, and explore ways to prevent and manage concussions as a way of ensuring the children he works with are able to stay healthy and active through their adult years. Scott lives in Maryhill with his wife and two young sons. A volunteer firefighter, he is an avid sports enthusiast and athlete with a particular fondness for hockey, golf, skiing, soccer, and baseball. Highly competitive and active by nature, Scott injured his own knee several times resulting in an ACL replacement at the age of twenty-six. He knows first hand how devastating coping with an injury can be and works very hard to ensure his own patients get the level of care they need to safely get back into the game!

Shari Koudijs

Shari graduated from ICT Kikkawa College, Toronto, in 1999. Since graduation, Shari has gained extensive clinical experience treating amputees, scar tissue, breast cancer clients and pro sport related injuries. Shari continues to study complementary healing modalities, and she has received certification/accreditation in Myofascial Release (levels 1-4), massage therapy and cancer, concussion, chronic pelvic pain, aging brain and dementia, advanced prenatal massage, strain/counterstrain, rotator cuff injuries, TMJ (jaw) dysfunction, fibromyalgia, suikodo, manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), taping, arthritic conditions, and autoimmune disorders. She is currently pursuing her certification through the Dr. Vodder School in Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD). She has directed part of her discipline towards helping women who are going through breast cancer treatment or augmentation. Through myofascial release techniques, MLD, frictioning techniques, and client self-educating, Shari can decrease the appearance and restrictions of the scars, increase range of motion of the effected shoulder and help decrease pain. Her practice also focuses on athletes of all ages, repetitive injuries, muscles/scars surrounding joint replacements and regular maintenance massages.
