Angela D. Smith is founder and owner of ADsmith Marketing & Advertising. She serves as ADsmith's ambassador to clients and the community. She utilizes her extensive expertise and more than thirty years in the industry to form big picture marketing strategy for clients, prospects and staff. In addition to leading client marketing strategies, Angela mentors ADsmith associates, approves employee work, develops new products and revenue sources for ADsmith and our clients, and demands personal and financial accountability from each staff member for continued profitability and growth.
A lifelong Springfieldian and graduate of Glendale High School, Angela graduated Summa Cum Laude from Missouri State University (then Southwest Missouri State University) with a BA in English.
ADsmith is Angela's fifth and final agency. She served as Vice President at Young & Company for nearly nine years before moving to Greene Marketing, then Perkin Marketing, and finally TPS Media Group, where she was a Partner/Vice President, before she formed ADsmith. Additionally, Angela worked as a copywriter for KICK radio out of college, then spent two years as an Admissions Representative for Drury University. Between agency jobs, Angela worked as Marketing Manager for Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr. Pepper, for whom she had formerly worked as Account Executive/Media Buyer at Young & Company.
With ADsmith as her legacy, Angela is committed to ensuring the company provides creative, accountable marketing results for clients.
Cyndi has built her career on the business development side of Marketing and comes to ADsmith with over 20 years of experience. She has a passion for creating a positive client experience and finding creative solutions to help her accounts succeed.
Cyndi earned her Marketing degree from Missouri State University with a minor in statistics. She met her husband at MSU and they have raised their family in Springfield. They are huge sports fans, and you can find them making their way to St Louis to catch a professional hockey or baseball game.
Her passion for reading has led her to volunteer for the Ozarks Literacy Council where she reads to Kindergarteners each month. Her goal is to share her love of reading to the class with the hopes that they become lifelong readers.
Drawing from age 2, Emily knew that her career in life would be something artsy and creative. Now here she is, with a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Kansas State University, living her best life as a graphic designer at ADsmith.
Hannah's creative spirit makes her a natural fit at ADsmith. She loves the opportunity to bring something new to life, whether in ceramics, paint, or charcoal.
Hannah graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor's in Public Relations and a minor in Law & Society. She has previously worked at the Springfield Art Museum as a marketing and development intern, where she assisted the coordinator in planning upcoming events. This experience makes her a natural addition to the ADsmith team, as planning, adjusting, and coordinating client initiatives are an integral part of the marketing process.

Hillary West, Vice President of Client Services, is the mad genius behind ADsmith's Media Department. Along with her team, Hillary leads the charge in creating ad plans for television, radio, print, outdoor, and online for all of ADsmith's clients. Building and implementing these plans is just phase one-Hillary is constantly analyzing, negotiating, and ensuring each message is seen by the correct audience.
Aside from Angela, Hillary has been with the company the longest. Over her time here, she has established relationships and manages several accounts and is an invaluable asset to the team.
Hillary earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing, with an emphasis in Advertising, from Missouri State University. She minored in Design. She is also a graduate of the Media Buying Academy's Boot Camp and Wizard Academy. She applies her knowledge and skill to ensure all ADsmith clients experience positive growth as a result of their marketing.
Holly is not the only nerd at ADsmith, but she might be the loudest. The walls of her office are a shrine to various fandoms, from Buffy to Batman. Holly works with account leaders to keep projects on schedule, and provides creative insight to help develop messages that remain consistent with each client's branding. Holly also serves as the resident copywriter, writing scripts, blogs, web content, brochures…pretty much anything that involves words.
Holly graduated from Missouri State University in 2008 with a BA in English, emphasis in Creative Writing. She is also a professional fiction editor, having spent three years acquiring and editing novels for Samhain Publishing. There, she worked with numerous authors, including some who have appeared on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists. Additionally, Holly is an award-winning novelist, but none of her books can be found under this name. Trust us, we've looked.
Mahsa is a creative adventurer. She came from the other side of the earth in search of a new life.
She is currently studying for her master's in graphic design at Pittsburg State University and teaches motion graphics as a teaching assistant. With six years of experience as a graphic designer in Iran under her belt, she now brings her expertise as a graphic design intern to ADsmith.
In her free time, Mahsa loves to cook. She adores animals but can't stand their hair on her clothes. The biggest cultural shock she had in the US was drinking Coca-Cola in the morning.
