A ticketed Carpenter and Joiner/Cabinet Maker with 35 years of construction experience, Alan prides himself on balancing project costing with quality construction and creative design. A recipient of numerous building and construction awards, Alan is active in various volunteer board positions, including the Vancouver Island Construction Association and British Columbia Construction Association.
As a director and executive of several island and provincial construction associations, Alan has invested his time, energy and considerable expertise to making the construction industry stronger and a significant contributor to the economic growth of British Columbia.
Guthrie LeFevre grew up in the construction and property development business. Prior to joining AFC Construction, Guthrie was involved in many facets of real estate, including multi-family development planning and construction, resort property management and maintenance, general property management and maintenance, and real estate sales.
As co-owner of AFC, Guthrie brings nearly 20 years of experience to the company. His hands-on approach to management is complimented by a broad skill set, including expertise in contract administration, planning and financing.
A true team player, Guthrie is a well-rounded project and operations manager who has overseen dozens of projects at AFC. He is a proponent of frequent project meetings with all project stakeholders and focuses on building details, envelope systems and overall quality.
