In fact, the story behind Ahead-IT begins in 2004, in a small attic room where the first servers were being sold in the gaming industry. Soon, this room was filled with boxes which were replaced to the garage, that again became too small. Thus it was only a small step to move to a small office of 300 m 2 in Gentbrugge. But also that office was soon bursting at the seams. Moreover, the location caused logistical problems. Today Ahead-IT is located in Wetteren, where all 1200 m 2 are being used. Meanwhile our team consists of 6 employees and will even grow in the future... For the purpose of quality, we easily chose Supermicro® as our main brand. However, Ahead-IT aims to be more than a traditional IT company. Not only we evolved from an IT company to a system builder, but we also pursue to be a Supermicro® partner for our customers.
