Adam Liegl grew up in Weyauwega, WI and later Cumberland, WI. Adam graduated from the

Alex Sutton grew up in Spooner, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with a B.S. in Accounting in 2004. Upon graduating, Alex worked as an accountant for Wipfli LLP in LaCrosse. In 2006, she got the opportunity to move back to Spooner when she accepted a position with Anderson, Hager & Moe.
Alex is currently the Vice President for the Spooner Area Chamber of Commerce, serves on the board for Leadership Washburn County, enjoys volunteering for Jr. Achievement and is active with church and school. Alex lives in Spooner with her husband and 2 sons and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and being at the lake.
Amanda grew up in Spooner, Wisconsin. She graduated from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College with an Associate degree in Accounting. Amanda has been with Anderson, Hager & Moe since July 2016.
Amanda lives in Hayward with her daughter. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, scrapbooking, snowmobiling, watching the Green Bay Packers and spending time with her family and friends.
Arielle grew up in Hayward and graduated in 2004 from Hayward High School. She attended college at Duluth Business University where she received a degree in Associates of Applied Science, majoring in Business Administration. She started working at Anderson Hager & Moe in February 2020.
Arielle lives in Hayward, Wisconsin with her four children and two dogs that keep her very busy. She spends a lot of her time volunteering for her kid's activities and traveling for numerous sporting events with her children.
Walking, biking and swimming are Arielle's favorite hobbies to do with her children. Their family also enjoys camping during the baseball season and being outdoors at home.
Caitlyn Swanson grew up in Spooner, Wisconsin and graduated from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical college- Rice Lake with an associate degree in accounting. Caitlyn has been with Anderson Hager and Moe since 2021.
Caitlyn lives in Rice Lake with her boyfriend and their two daughters. In the summer they enjoy camping and spending time out on the lake with family and friends. Caitlyn is the treasurer of the Rice Lake Volleyball Club.
Curt Rowe was born and raised in Rice Lake. After graduating high school, he joined the Army on active duty for 3 years and was stationed in Germany. After his military service, he graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2007 and had been employed with Anderson, Hager & Moe ever since. In the 15 plus years he has been with Anderson, Hager & Moe, he has gone from preparing payrolls, financial statements, and tax returns to managing the Rice Lake office.
Curt is married to Dana and has 3 children. Since 2003, he has been active in coaching youth baseball, football, basketball, and softball and is the treasurer of the Rice Lake All Sports Booster Club. His summer months are spent chasing his kids all around the country playing traveling sports.
Dan Bornholtz grew up in Woodbury, Minnesota and graduated from Iowa State University in the fall of 2020. He was the intern in our Spooner office during spring of 2020, helped out part time in Hayward that summer, and started full time in Hayward in January of 2021. Dan is an absolute fishing fanatic, loves spending time in the outdoors, and enjoys watching sports.
His family purchased a cabin in Webb Lake, Wisconsin in 2000 and it has been a favorite vacation spot ever since. The area has felt more like home to him the past few years, so starting a career in the Northwoods was a no-brainer.
Erin Walter grew up in North Dakota and moved to the Stone Lake area in 1993. She graduated from the Rice Lake Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Accounting. She has been with Anderson, Hager, & Moe since 2003.
Family is important to Erin and she enjoys spending time with her family. Erin and her husband have two young boys, and they enjoy watching them learn new things and figure out the world around them keeping their parents on their toes. Erin enjoys taking the boys on bike rides, exploring the great outdoors, and playing in the sandbox with them, crafting, reading, and helping at her church's activities.
Gina Monson grew up in Shell Lake/Spooner WI and graduated from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College- Rice Lake with an associate degree in Accounting. Gina accepted a position at Anderson, Hager, & Moe in 2018.
Gina and her husband Christian recently purchased a house and a German Sheppard puppy named Molly. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and skiing.
Jaimee Bengs was born and raised in Hayward, Wisconsin. She and her daughter have been living in Spooner since 2010. Before joining AHM, she has spent the last 20+ years in the restaurant industry, including owning her own restaurant for 8 years and managing the Hayward Golf Club for 10 years. She actively volunteers at Jack Pine Savage Mud Run and for the Spooner Rodeo Stampede Run.
Jenni Olson was born in Fridley, Minnesota, and spent her youth in both Minnesota and Florida. Jenni graduated from Minneapolis Business College in 2002 with a degree in Travel and Hospitality, and from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in 2017 with an associate's degree in accounting. Jenni accepted a position at Anderson, Hager & Moe in November 2016. Prior to her current position, Jenni worked for the St. Croix Casino for 14 years in various positions.
Jenni lives in Cumberland with her son, and her boyfriend Ben. She enjoys traveling, cooking, learning new things, and spending time outside with her family.
Jessica Pittman grew up in Almena, Wisconsin and graduated from WITC-Rice Lake with an associate's degree in Accounting. She has been with Anderson Hager & Moe since 1998.
Jessica lives outside of Cumberland with her husband Dan and two daughters. She is treasurer of her church and enjoys camping, hiking and watching her kids' activities.
Karen has been a CPA for over 30 years after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1988 with a BS in accounting. She started her career in Middleton, WI at the firm of Smith & Gesteland, CPA's. In 1990 Karen joined Anderson, Hager & Moe CPA's in Spooner and became partner in 2020. Karen works with small business and individual clients with a wide range of consulting, planning, accounting, tax and Quickbooks issues.
Karen has been involved over the years with the Spooner Chamber of Commerce, Spooner Education Foundation, Leadership Washburn County, Spooner Junior Achievement, Ducks Unlimited and her church. Serving on the board of these organizations. Karen currently lives in Spooner and during her free time enjoys spending time with her family, reading, snowmobiling, hiking and being at the lake. Karen and her husband have 3 grown children and grandchildren to keep them busy.
Laura Schneider grew up in Cumberland, Wisconsin and graduated from Rasmussen Business College, St. Paul, Minnesota with a two-year accounting degree. Laura has been with Anderson, Hager & Moe since 2004. Prior to that, she worked for the Municipal Utility in Cumberland for 9 years as a payroll/office assistant and also worked for Lammers Electric in Cumberland for 7 years as Office Manager.
Laura enjoys being a Grandma and traveling to Chicago and Fargo to visit her children. She also enjoys boating, gardening, planting flowers, and spending time with her dog Stella and cat Simon.
Mark Beckman grew up in Blue Island, Illinois and Hayward, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Superior in 1989, joined Anderson Hager & Moe that year, and became Partner in 2002. Mark has many years of experience in providing individual tax, business tax, and various financial accounting, consulting and auditing services. He is a member of the Firm's Technology Committee.
Mark's community involvement includes: Past President and current Treasurer of Hayward Foundation for Educational Enrichment, Treasurer of his church's Memorial and Endowment Committee, a member of Hayward Lions Club, and a volunteer at many of the area events.
In addition to spending time with his wife and children, he enjoys fishing, boating, water sports, and the outdoors.
Mark Olson grew up in Frederic, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Finance. He interned at Anderson Hager and Moe while in college and accepted a full-time position upon graduating in 2020.
Mark is currently on the board and the Treasurer of the Spooner Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work he enjoys bowhunting, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Mary is originally from Kansas, where she worked as a Radiologic Technologist before returning to college, majoring in Accounting. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor's degree in 2015 and a Master's degree in 2017. After her husband retired from the Air Force in 2017, they chose to move closer to their favorite fishing spot. Mary began working at Anderson, Hager, & Moe in August of 2017.
Mary enjoys fishing, baking, crocheting, and reading.
Matt "Vern" Thompson grew up in Spooner, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Finance. He has been with Anderson, Hager, & Moe since 2005. Vern is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and provides business valuation services.
Melissa grew up in Hayward and graduated in 2009. She attended Carthage College in Kenosha, WI for a year then went on to receive a double major in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She first interned with Anderson, Hager & Moe in 2013 before starting full-time in January of 2014. She received her Certified Public Accountant licensure in January 2018.
Melissa has been very active in the community while volunteering with the American Birkebeiner, Hayward Fall Festival, the Lure of Lights, Musky Festival, Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival, the Sawyer County Fair and was the 2008 Hayward Musky Festival Queen. She is currently serving on the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors where she previously served two years as President and one as Treasurer. She has also served as Treasurer on the Hayward Sports Center Board of Directors in prior years. Melissa also volunteers on the Income Committee for the Hayward Community Food Shelf, is active with Element Church, and is a member of the firm's marketing committee.
Reading and being outdoors with her husband, dog and two children are some of Melissa's favorite hobbies. They really enjoy camping, hunting, fishing and hiking. They also love shooting archery together and attending the Hayward Hawks baseball games.
Pam grew up in Ladysmith and graduated from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Rice Lake with an Associate Degree in Accounting. She has worked for Anderson, Hager & Moe since 1988 and

Mr. Siemers has over thirty years of experience in the Financial Services industry which includes finance and banking organizations as well experience in public accounting. He has held various positions of increasing responsibility in corporate finance & accounting, reporting, strategic & financial planning, credit risk, tax, and audit. For the last twenty years he held a variety of management positions in finance, credit risk, and accounting at Green Tree Financial Services in St Paul, MN. Before leaving the company he was a Senior Vice President responsible for running the operations of its Insurance Agency and Recovery Collections business as well as the Mortgage Servicing Analytics team.
Mr. Siemers moved to Hayward in 2016 and currently performs mortgage servicing consulting and income tax work.
Mr. Siemers serves as Treasurer for the Hayward Sno-Mads snowmobile club and the Hayward Community Credit. He is also a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church Finance Council.
Mr. Siemers received a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in accountancy from Northern Illinois University. He holds a CPA and is licensed in the state of Wisconsin.
Sam Holden grew up in Spooner, WI and graduated from UW-Superior with Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting & Finance. Sam was an intern for the firm in 2015 & has been with with Anderson, Hager & Moe full-time since December 2015. Sam is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and is in the process to earn his CVA license in 2023 to perform business valuation services. Sam also serves as treasurer for the Wisconsin Baseball Association and Spooner Youth Baseball organizations and volunteers during many other local events throughout the year.
Away from the office he can be found coaching or playing baseball, hunting and fishing, or watching his favorite Wisconsin sports teams. Sam also enjoys spending time with his nephews, horse camping, and working on land improvement projects at their cabin.
Steve grew up in Mayville-Portland, ND and graduated from Mayville State University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a Minor in Accounting. Steve has been with Anderson, Hager & Moe since December 2015, after relocating to the Hayward lakes area, and before that spent 20 years at the CPA firm of Eide Bailly LLP, in Fargo, ND.
Sue grew up in Duluth, MN and graduated from University of Minnesota - Duluth with a B.A. in Accounting. Sue has worked in public accounting with small businesses since 1986. In 2017 Sue retired from her position as a tax manager at RSM's Duluth office and moved to Barnes WI with her husband. By the fall of 2018, Sue realized she missed public accounting and believes she has found a good fit working at Anderson, Hager and Moe's Hayward Office.
When she's not working, Sue enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and traveling to visit their three children. She is on the leadership council of Duluth's Community Bible Study and is currently serving as their treasurer.
Tara Genrich grew up in Stevens Point, WI and moved to Hayward in 2019. She attended Lakeland University and received her B.S. in Accounting in 2020 and then went on to receive her M.B.A. in 2022. Tara is currently working towards obtaining her CPA.
Tara enjoys living in the north woods with her husband, two daughters, and dog (Peanut). She enjoys reading, gardening, fishing, traveling and most of all being with family and friends. GO PACK!
Wendy Markgren is a life-long resident of Rice Lake and has been with Anderson, Hager, & Moe since 2001 with a brief absence. She received a Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and an equivalent degree in Accounting at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.
Wendy is married with three grown children. She is an active community member in the Rice Lake Chamber Ambassadors, Bethany Lutheran Church, Bethany Belles and she is treasurer of Bethany Lutheran Church and the Rice Lake Hockey Association. Wendy enjoys cruising around in her convertible when she is not busy with her children and grandchildren.
Yareli Sanchez was raised in Huntington Park, California and has lived in Rice Lake, Wisconsin since 2015. In 2018, Yareli received her Associates Degree in Accounting at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Rice Lake, thereby joining Anderson, Hager, & Moe later that Fall. In 2022, She graduated from Lakeland University with her Bachelor's in Accounting and received her real estate license to work alongside Charissa Myers from Jenkins Realty in Rice Lake.
Yareli lives in Barron with her boyfriend, Santos, and their two dogs. When time permits, she enjoys coaching soccer at the Rice Lake Soccer Association. If she is not off coaching, she is either playing on the fields herself, reading, fishing, or simply spending time with her family and friends.
