Ashley has over 10 years of civil engineering experience in Auckland and Melbourne and has worked on a wide range of land development, building, infrastructure and public realm projects in NZ and Australia. Ashley is experienced in leading engineering teams to deliver excellent project outcomes and enjoys working collaboratively with clients, contractors and other consultants in order to develop engineering solutions that are cost-effective and meet the needs of the project stakeholders.
David has been with Airey Consultants Ltd for 25+ years and has been working in the greater Auckland area for 30 years. He has extensive experience in structural engineering design of residential, commercial, industrial and tensioned membrane structures. He has had widespread involvement in various aspects of civil engineering, including design and supervision of residential subdivisions, roading and drainage projects. Outside of work, his wife, two children and sport dominate his free time. David is passionate about triathlon and multisport and has represented NZ in Xterra off-road triathlon. David also loves playing golf and currently plays off a 5 handicap.
James has been working with Airey Consultants Ltd since 1996. He has a strong background of land development and subdivisional projects, including large scale coastal developments. Skills include infrastructure design and project management.

Mitchell is a chartered professional civil engineer with over 10 years' experience in the planning, design and project management of civil engineering projects across both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Mitchell has been involved in a wide variety of land development & civil infrastructure projects, ranging from initial feasibility assessments through to on-site construction monitoring, contract management & certification. Mitchell enjoys working as part of a team to develop creative engineering solutions and has a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time & budget.

Nate is a Chartered Professional Civil Engineer and has been working in the industry for 17+ years. He was appointed as Associate Director in April 2023 and is based in our Takapuna office. He has broad experience encompassing all aspects of Civil Engineering projects predominantly including Retirement Villages for Metlifecare and Hopper Developments as well as residential canal developments for Hopper Developments in both Whitianga and Marsden Cove. Nate strives to provide excellent service for his clients and can handle all aspects and stages of projects from feasibility down to vesting
Royden has been working in the greater Auckland and Wellington area for 18+ years. He was appointed as Associate Director in 2021 and is leading the team of civil engineers within the Botany office. He has broad experience encompassing all aspects of Civil Engineering projects including Project Management, obtaining Resource Consents relating to subdivisional, earthworks operations, works in watercourses, and stormwater discharge consents for various land development projects.
