Aliaa Soliman

Job Titles:
  • Senior Partner, MSMEs Development, Corporate Governance and Capacity Building
Over 15 years of banking and consulting experience, working with local and international organizations carrying out assignments and projects which involved private sector and SME finance and development, strategy development and assessment, training and capacity building, evaluation and assessment of efficiency and effectiveness of projects and conducting market research. She has also extensive experience in the design, development and delivery of courses, seminars and workshops for various institutions in the MENA region in Arabic and English including the Nile University, the Egyptian Banking Institute (training arm of the Central Bank of Egypt), the Egyptian Institute for Directors, Jordanian Institute of Directors, and the International Financial Corporation (IFC). Dr. Soliman has experience in working with public and private Institutions as well as governmental institutions including the World Bank, the African Development Bank, KfW, EIB, EBRD and the Dutch Government and the Egyptian Government (Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture) and Social Fund for Development as well as several privately own companies within the MENA region. She also cooperates with the IFC in conducting Corporate Governance Assessment for private sector Enterprises identifying the different CG improvements required at the level of the Board of Directors activities and duties as well as the delivery of training courses and workshops of Corporate Governance to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the MENA region. She is a founding member and Ex. Vice President of the Middle East Council for Entrepreneurship & Small Business as well as the ex vice president of the Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB) (until 2013). Ms. Soliman obtained her Masters degree in Public Administration from the American University in Cairo and her Doctoral Degree on the subject of efficiency of SME finance through the Egyptian Banking sector from Maastricht University, The Netherland.

Amal El Tobgy

Job Titles:

Extensive experience in local and international Banking & Finance. Familiar with the needs and constraints of the Egyptian financial and business sector. Served on several committees for the design and implementation of the first economic reform in Egypt in 1991. Was a member of a senior team responsible for establishing Misr International Bank, the second joint venture bank established in Egypt (acquired by Société Générale and recently sold to Qatar National Bank), where she reached the position of The Senior GM and Board member.

Hesham Elghamry

Job Titles:
  • Senior Partner, Agriculture and Financial Consultancy
Over twenty years of professional Banking and Financial Consultancy experience with major banks and International Financial Institutions. Scope covering financial analysis and restructuring (financial, service and manufacturing industries), financial institutions facilities assessment and design, financial products development for SMEs, analysis and quality rating of MSME credit portfolio, procedural Audits (QMS auditor), projects valuation and feasibility studies. He is also involved as an investment advisor with The Beltone MidCap Fund, an SME specialized PE Fund targeting this segment in the region. He is also a Founding member and board member of the Middle East Council for Small Business & Entrepreneurship (MCSBE), an affiliate of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB)

Inji Yousri

Job Titles:
  • Projects Manager
Project Manager with 10 years of experience in project coordination and project management with extensive experience working in numerous projects and assignments with international donor funded agencies e.g. EU, AfDB, WB, EBRD, EIB, CIDA, KfW, USAID, SFD as well as other international and local organizations. She provides the required support and assistance in the implementation of the projects activities. Her responsibilities as a project manager includes activity planning; monitoring and management of work programmes and project teams; contracting and management of consultants and service providers; quality assurance of deliverables, technical documents and management reports. She is also responsible for relationship management with key project stakeholders; budget planning and financial oversight; risk management and finding solutions to complex issues. She performs a variety of other project related activities such as information collection, research, analysis, monitoring and reporting. She develops and maintains working level contacts with officials in the counterpart organizations, GoE ministries, local authorities, consultants, and contractor organizations to ensure the effective and efficient performance the foregoing duties of related projects.
