  • Graphic Designer, Technical Illustrator and Desktop Publisher
Throughout my 25+ year career in Visual Communications I have consistently displayed the ability to combine speed, artistic talent and accuracy with details while contributing or managing Creative, Technical & Publication teams in high end design and technical publications. I spent 5 years in San Jose managing a creative services and technical documentation team for SONY Electronics Broadcast & Professional Division. After moving to the Sac Metro area I transitioned to creating technical illustrations for Boeing's role in the International Space Station. After leaving Boeing I spent 8 years on a technical programming team creating, repairing, and formatting incoming art to work with custom built programs for Standard Register. Along the way I contributed with duties such as form building, complex data merges, typesetting and graphic design before moving on to Wells Fargo Student Insurance as a Senior Graphic Designer. Taking what is in your mind and turning it into an effective visual communication is my specialty. I also excel in technical documentation, illustration and complex desktop publishing. I live in Cameron Park with my wife and our twin 9 year old children. We also have a 23 year-old who recently graduated from U.C. Davis. We have 4 dogs: 3 small terrier rescue mixes and an English Labrador. Our hobbies and likes include camping, fishing, hunting, archery and little league where my son plays and I volunteer as an Assistant Coach and Team Manager. I also volunteer to give back to my community and to nature through work with the California Deer Association, who enhances and secures critical habitat for wildlife; and the kids' Elementary School PTA as needed for graphics.
