AMM - Key Persons

Austin Reed

Austin represents the engineering brain of AMM, and has led AMM's approach to building new technology on phones. In addition to his years of experience in voter contact, Austin navigates the changing world of political phones just like an engineer - figuring out ways to make phone contact more efficient, effective, and scalable, building new platforms and strategies to connect with voters. Austin can be counted on to maximize the use of tools and talent to execute your phone program and will teach you the benefit and efficacy of each part of your program. He's also our secret weapon if anyone challenges us to win an RFP by playing Ultimate Frisbee.

Crystal Davis

Chaos surrenders to order and calm in Crystal's shadow. Pulled by the power of change in campaigns and advocacy from her previous career as a political radio journalist, she found her passion in municipal politics, electing women to office, and civic education. Crystal worked on Kendra Horn's top-tier congressional race in 2020 and executed the largest Vote By Mail program in Oklahoma history. She tackles data and targeting challenges like a seasoned NYT crossword puzzle master, recruits and trains local and first-time candidates to build the Democratic bench and volunteers for Sally's List. An Oklahoma native she and her partner, James, stay on the move camping, hiking, and researching Oklahoma history. One day they hope to pack up and live the nomad life from an R.V. with their geriatric cats, Yamcha and Snkt.

J.D. Angle

Jay Jackson

If the day after a Democratic win in a competitive district in Texas, Republicans are shaking their heads and asking, "what happened", it's probably because Jay Jackson was at the helm of a first-class turnout and field operation. Jay brings fresh energy, experience, and perspective to the kinds of grassroots voter contact we implement at AMM. Jay has a long record running field programs across the state of Texas, with experience turning out voters in Tarrant County - a long time Republican stronghold that has shifted Democratic under the persuasion and turnout programs Jay has helmed in the last three cycles. Jay's ability to target and turn out Democratic voters was critical to Beto O'Rourke winning Tarrant County in 2018, and Joe Biden winning the county in 2020. Jay knows that Tarrant can be a bellwether for new Democratic gains, and we're counting on his expertise to engage and turnout Democratic voters in battleground areas. Jay understands how to elect strong Democrats and how to help them govern. He has worked with Congressman Marc Veasey and served as Chief of Staff for Tarrant County Commissioner Devan Allen after helping her win the first Tarrant County Democratic County Commission upset in 30 years. A Fort Worth native, Jay's commitment to service goes beyond partisan politics - he serves on the boards of Campfire First, United Way of Tarrant County, and Clayton Youth Enrichment. He and his wife, Katie, A Mansfield public school teacher and their frisky pup, Sheba, live in Fort Worth and are an active part of the music and arts scene in Fort Worth. Sheba plays the bass.

Jennifer Mathews

Jennifer is the most driven in the office, the AMM partner who will bring more creative and measurable solutions to your campaign than anyone else on your team. Jennifer was one of those rare kids in elementary school who knew who the Speaker of the House was and recognized their significance, while her classmates only knew about the Presidency. She brings that approach to every phone program she creates - understanding that while your phones may never be as flashy and obvious as media and mail, they're the workhouse behind the scenes that ties your campaign communication together and gets your voters to the polls, and without them, you're not getting across the finish line. Her goal is to ensure that your campaign is reaching voters creatively.

Laura Arbour

Laura's core childhood memories include picketing for teachers and volunteering for campaigns, igniting a passion for growing and supporting a diverse, informed, and active electorate. Rising through the ranks of federal and state campaigns for over a decade, Laura developed the ability to implement the smooth financial operations that are crucial to effective troublemaking. Since 2015, Laura has made sure the lights stay on at AMM, the bills get paid, and company operations run smoothly. As a former campaign staffer, Laura understands the unique cash flow and ethics requirements of our clients, and ensures that the financial operations of our organization work for our clients. Raised in Little Rock, Laura is the most likely to start a conversation about politics, religion, and money all together... and she'll also tie in the effects of race, too. She is especially happy to do this here in Fort Worth at school pick-ups, her kids' basketball games, and the church committees on which she serves, because she knows the only way to move forward is by having uncomfortable conversations. Laura is the only staffer without a dog or cat. We forgive her.
