Mr. Tsai has a L.L.B. from National Chung Hsing University and a L.L.M. from Duke University in the United States. He is a licensed attorney and a certified patent agent in Taiwan. Prior to returning to private practice, Mr. Tsai had practiced law as a public prosecutor for almost two decades. In addition to being a lawyer, Mr. Tsai also taught courses on international intellectual properties rights at Fu-Dan University in Shanghai, China as a visiting professor and taught classes on criminal laws and criminology at Taipei Police Academy. During his years in private practice, he has served as the legal counsel of several government agencies and major multinational corporations including the National Police Administration of Taiwan's Ministry of Interior, the Center for Disease Control Taiwan, R.O.C., DaimlerChrysler Taiwan Ltd., Breeze Development Co., Ltd., Taiwan Cellular Corporation, Taiwan Fixed Network Co., Ltd., TransAsia Telecommunications, Inc., and Howin Technologies Corporation.
Armed with nearly two decades of experience as a public prosecutor, Mr. Tsai is a highly skilled and experienced litigator and arbitrator. He has almost always won court decisions in favor of our clients regardless of the nature of litigations, ranging from IP infringement to shareholder disputes.
