Alex graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Finance in 2009. He started his real estate career in the multi-family property management industry in his hometown of Louisville, KY. Within 1 year, he became a successful Property Manager of a 215 unit multifamily community. During his time in the multifamily industry, Alex learned the business and worked to achieve his CAM certification from the National Apartment Association.
Seeking a new challenge and professional growth, Alex relocated to Charleston, SC to join an SFR REIT, specializing in the purchase, renovation, and management of single family rental properties throughout the country. During his 5 years with the SRF REIT, Alex held many operational positions including Renovation Manager, Regional Renovation Manager, New Market/City Opener, and finally the National Director of Property Management. The company was able to grow unit count during his time from 850 doors to over 9,000 doors.
During his real estate career, Alex has always focused on being an investor. He is passionate about the long term benefits of investing in real estate. He started a rental property business during his early multifamily management days and now owns single family homes and multifamily/short term rentals. He is currently involved in the flipping of single family properties and will be focused on multifamily repositions in the near future.
Alex is excited to take his experience and apply scalable operations to Auben Realty's established investment brokerage. He is passionate about building out and implementing processes and procedures that focus on efficiency and results.
In his free time, Alex enjoys playing golf, traveling, and hanging out with his Golden Retriever, Cash.
Inspired professionally by his Dad, Ben has watched, over the years how his father conducts himself in such a professional manner, his attention to detail, and just the way he has run his business for the last 30+ years. Ben aspires to one day be as respected and thought of in the area professionally as his father is.
After having been in construction his whole life and working for his father's construction company for 13 years, Ben spent the next two years as a Project Manager at Southeast Restoration doing insurance restoration work. Ben landed here at Auben because he felt professionally that he was ready for a new challenge that Auben could offer. Ben bring years of hands on construction knowledge in remodeling as well as experience in the Project Management field to our Project Management team at Auben and is adept at balancing 10-20 job sites at any given time.
William "Bill" Schuetze is the self proclaimed "Old Guy" of Auben who has been around since it's inception due to the fact that his son, Tyson is the Founder & CEO. He holds a Bachelor of Science-American Institutions from University of Wisconsin and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He is a entity of Auben whose work ethic is unparalleled. Starting work at the age of 12 in his father's clothing store, Bill has had a varied amount of work experiene as an attorney at Legal Aid Society of Louisville for five years and then continuing on as the co-Owner of Hawley-Cooke Booksellers, Louisville, Kentucky for 25 years. Throughout life Bill has owned and renovated properties in Kentucky and Georgia which was part of Tyson's inspiration for Auben.
When we asked Bill why he was excited to be a part of the Auben team he replied, "Quite simply, my older son is the Founder and Co-owner of Auben Realty. Obviously, I am not objective. But he is a visionary who is a rare combination of being very detail-oriented and one who is able to see the big picture. His creativity, drive, work ethic and business acumen makes for a powerful package. As I am not a young man, it is absolutely thrilling to work in an organization that is highly energetic and pursuing lofty goals. Auben has attracted a very educated and motivated group of associates and it is a true joy to participate in the growth of this highly ethical company."
Often we will ask our employees what they aspire to be and almost always there are dreams of leadership and career advancement but when asking this same question to Bill we heard one of the most profoundly pure answers that we have ever gotten, "My days of being in charge are over. I simply want to contribute wherever and whenever I can." If only we can all live a life that leads us to be able to make that statement!

Chase is a highly organized professional that joined Auben's team in 2024 after graduating with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus in marketing. He previously worked for the solar company, Powerhouse Solar, where he was ranked top Solar Development Advisor.
Chase's high-level communication skills coupled with his commendable work ethic and time management skills make him the perfect addition to any team. He loves forging and maintaining professional relationships, and he looks forward to continuing to network and make new connections.
Chase is also family-oriented and enjoys spending time with his loved ones, especially during the holidays. As he continues his professional career, he looks forward to his long term goal of becoming an investor.
Chris started in real estate straight out of college and quickly earned a role on a sales team for new home construction. After a couple of years (and because of the market crash) he took on a new job with a local property management company. During his tenure he learned a lot which led to his professional introduction to selling investment real estate and working with investors. Having had the experience to see what happened on the back end with property management, Chris then began to really focus on investor sales.
After working with another firm for a couple of years, Chris landed at Auben Columbia, SC. Chris brings more than 15 years of experience in many different forms of real estate, including residential sales, new home sales, property management, multifamily, and land sales. Having had many experiences, in various areas of property sales and management Chris says, " I love the fact that Auben is investor focused. It fits me perfectly and I believe they do it better than anyone."
Chris finds himself inspired by other real estate investors. Listening and learning to the many different ways investors approach this business has given Chris a unique point of view which we value very much here at Auben.

Cindy is a wife and mother to 15 children (7 girls and 8 boys). Having a curiosity of the real estate market and a daughter in the business lead her obtaining her real estate license.

Cindy is also very active in her church, Southside Baptist Church, where her husband serves pastor. Her passions consists of : restoring her 100 year-old home, sewing & crafting, tending to her chickens, watching British television, and cheering for her son's local baseball team.

Mr. Caster is an experienced real estate developer and operations manager for complex multi-family real estate ventures with extensive experience in the following but not limited to sourcing land, entitlement, design, capitalization, underwriting, development and construction, strategic planning and execution, re-positioning of assets (value add), conventional, senior housing, subsidized, student housing, and renovations throughout the country spanning the last 26 years. Mr. Caster has also worked intimately with several institutional, life and private investment companies such as Invesco, Northwestern Mutual Life, Met Life, State Teachers Retirement Systems of Ohio, Lend Lease, General Electric Investments, Ocwen, L&B Realty, IRET, Phoenix Development, etc.
Prior to joining the Auben Realty team, Mr. Caster was the COO for the Klotz Group of Companies (KGC) with a portfolio valued over $1 billion, and also spent time as the President of TKC Construction Group, a subsidiary of The KGC. Prior to KGC, Mr. Caster was the President at Sagebrush Companies overseeing Operations, Asset Management, Acquisitions, and Development with a portfolio valued over $500 million. Prior to Sagebrush, Mr. Caster was the Vice President of Alaska for Weidner Investment Services overseeing all property management operations for approximately 33 assets totaling approximately $300 million. Prior to Weidner, Mr. Caster was the National Director of Renovations at RREEF/Deutsche Bank Real Estate in Chicago where he oversaw all aspects of renovations throughout the country with assets totaling over $300 million.
Erin Eisele is a highly skilled communications and marketing professional with nearly 20 years of experience in dynamic environments that demand results. Prior to joining the Auben Realty team, she held key positions at esteemed organizations such as the Smithsonian's Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC, the Congaree Land Trust in Columbia, SC, and the University of South Carolina's Arnold School of Public Health. In these roles, she showcased her expertise in crafting effective marketing and communications strategies that successfully enhance brand awareness, drive impactful results, and contribute to revenue growth
In addition, Erin is an emerging real estate investor who recently completed her first successful property flip in Aiken, SC, where she resides with her family. She holds an active real estate license in South Carolina and is committed to staying updated on the latest industry practices.
Erin‘s diverse background and professional accomplishments reflect her dedication, expertise, and entrepreneurial spirit in both the marketing and real estate industries. In addition to her extensive background in the field, she is also a small business owner of a boutique wine shop in her hometown of Aiken, SC with her husband, James. When she is not working, she enjoys unplugging, spending time with her family, and various creative pursuits.

Jake first found his love for real estate and rental housing in working at Carlton Senior Living in Davis, California. In working at the front desk and Jake was the go-to person to help the elderly residents, which mostly meant being someone they could talk to. That love of customer service and his most recent experience as a real estate team admin led him to join Auben to continue serving and helping.
Jake says he is excited to become an Auben team member for a few reasons. First and foremost, the people. "Everyone I have met at Auben has been kind and encouraging, there are no strangers here" says Jake. Secondly, the growth opportunities. Jake says that he is very excited about the opportunity to build a career and to have the chance to have an on the ground look at property investment. "As a recent first time home buyer I am thrilled to get to learn about property management first hand and use that knowledge to grow my own wealth."

Janie studied at Texas State University, Augusta Technical College, and has a massive amount of Real Estate and Project Management course hours. She started Wimberley Land Company at the age of 19 and has been an active real estate agent since 1976. Janie is involved in promoting numerous downtown projects. She has over 43 years of experience in Commercial Sales, Leasing, Property and Project Management. Janie is the founder of Prime Commercial Properties, an Augusta based business since 1984, and is a key player in the continued growth of downtown Augusta. She is an active board member and affiliate of numerous civic and professional organizations.

Jason recently relocated from Charlotte, NC and has been pleasantly surprised to see how much his hometown has grown since he graduated from UT-Chattanooga in 2008.

Jason loves being outdoors, and enjoys running along the Chattanooga Riverwalk in his free time. As a dog owner, and advocate for pet rescue and adoption, Jason also lends support to McKamey Animal Center in Chattanooga.
Jose is originally from Venezuela, but his favorite city in the world is New Orleans.
Jose' loves to swim. He actually used to be on the swim team for the Venezuelan Air Force. If you see Jose' outside of Auben, you might catch him dancing the Merengue and Salsa to Latin Music.
