Andrew Perry

Andrew joined Avery's sales team as a Business Development Representative where he will create a strong pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team. He will work closely with Avery's Producers to align strategies, share insights, and refine lead-generation tactics while concurrently working to earn his Property and Casualty license. Before joining Avery, Andrew worked at B2W (a contractor bidding software company) as a business development representative where he was a top-performing employee. His combination of sales and service experience will help him evolve into a top producer. Andrew graduated from Southern Maine Community College with an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. He currently lives in Dover, NH, and spends his free time living an active lifestyle that includes weight training, skiing, and golfing.

Ashley Minnon

Ashley is a Personal Lines Senior Account Manager in our Wolfeboro, NH office. Early on she demonstrated her commitment to customer service and professionalism by earning the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation. Ashley has emerged as a leader, facilitating a team environment, and has been an integral part of training new employees on the Avery Way and several other aspects of account management. In 2022, Ashley completed the Chubb Management School; a 9-month, intensive course with a focus on better understanding risk management and insurance needs of successful individuals and families. Recently, she furthered her commitment to exceptional service and leadership as an insurance practitioner by completing the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) program where she gained a comprehensive understanding of risks and exposures to ensure she always gives the attention, care, and current information necessary to allow Avery clients to make informed coverage decisions.

Bobbie Moulton

Prior to that she spent 18 years as an office manager for a local real estate company. Bobbie graduated from the University of Maine-Farmington with a BA in Math/Computer Science. She has enjoyed living and raising her 2 sons in Wolfeboro since 1995. During her free time, she enjoys gardening, yoga, walking, the beach, theater, and good times with family and friends. Danica Lehner

Danica is a Personal Lines Account Manager for the Avery Gold Team where she provides asset protection for successful individuals and families through a high-touch, consultative approach. She uses her extensive knowledge of available markets and underwriting guidelines to develop customized insurance solutions for our valued clients. Danica holds a P&C License in New Hampshire and also serves as Avery's Systems Coordinator. In 1984, Danica joined the Agency as a receptionist and has, at one time or another, done nearly every job in the agency. In January of 2024, Danica will celebrate her 40th year with the agency. We are so proud to have her as part of our Avery family. In her spare time, Danica enjoys spending time with her daughter and friends, camping, reading, bowling, cruising, creating photo scrapbooks, making jewelry, and golfing. "Thank you so much, Tod! Danielle Rice

In the spring of 2022, Danielle joined Avery as a Senior Commercial Risk Specialist. In her role, Danielle works with Avery's clients to develop comprehensive insurance programs and recommend risk management solutions, security policies, business continuity plans, and recovery measures. Not long after joining Avery, she was promoted to Director of Commercial Insurance to oversee the amazing talent in Avery's commercial division. Danielle collaborates closely with our Risk Advisors and Risk Specialists, acting as a guide for the department. Danielle also continues to diligently work on many of our Avery PRIME Accounts as a Senior Commercial Risk Specialist. Danielle has her Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation and is a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS). Prior to joining Avery Insurance, Danielle's professional experience included nearly twenty years as a senior account manager in the insurance industry. Her passion for cultivating strong client relationships and her desire to help clients make informed decisions led her to Avery. Danielle and her husband Justin live in Belmont, NH and have two children; Annabelle and Mylo, They also have two rescue dogs, Maxwell and Leo. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys working in her flower gardens, exploring the outdoors with her family, camping, and is an active member of her Parent Teacher Organization.

Deb Rourke

Deb has been in customer service most of her adult life and her role here at Avery Insurance as a Risk Advisor is no different. Deb has been with Avery Insurance since 2005, starting out as part time, she has grown into an Avery fixture. Deb holds her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent) designations. Prior to coming to Avery, she co-ran her husband's business as a General Contractor/Developer, doing everything from the bookkeeping, marketing, handling of all the sub-contractors, to selling real estate. Today, Deb holds her Real Estate License along with her Insurance License. Due to the background that Deb has, she has niches that she specializes in, including: Contractors with a high volume of landscapers, transportation (particularly the Livery business), auto body & repair, and the restaurant industry. Deb is passionate about the needs and goals of her clients- not just selling them a product but helping them understand the exposures of their particular business and educating them on how to protect those exposures. Outside of work, Deb has 3 children, one grown and on her own, one in college, and a senior in high school. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and staying fit with Yoga and spinning. Fletcher Sokul

Fletcher joined the Avery Team in the Fall of 2020 as a risk advisor. In his role, Fletcher supports the on-going development, management, and growth of Avery GOLD and PRIME programs. Fletcher brings high-level counsel and strategic advice to his commercial and personal lines clients. Prior to beginning his career in the insurance industry, Fletcher worked as an analyst in commercial real estate assisting with private equity and debt deals. Fletcher is a New Hampshire native who grew up in Concord. He graduated from Loyola University in Maryland with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and a minor in Finance. As an avid golfer, he played collegiate golf at Loyola and spent two and a half years playing on the PGA Tour completing 70+ professional events across the country. Fletcher resides in Hampton, NH and enjoys golf and an active lifestyle.

Hellen Hill

Hellen joined the team during the summer of 2022 as a Senior Risk Specialist in the commercial insurance division of the agency. In her role, she will assist with renewal policies, endorsements, certificates, and remarkets of business insurance accounts. She will also be trained in new business process. Prior to joining Avery, Hellen worked as a commercial lines manager servicing large, complicated accounts. She took a break from her insurance career to earn her Master's Degree in Education from Franklin Peirce University. After a stint in teaching, she decided to return to her roots and is happy to be back in insurance.

Jaimie Warren

Jaimie joined the Personal Lines team as an Account Manager in the summer of 2022. Jaimie is a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent and is well-versed in insurance software programs like AMS360. With keen attention to details, Jaimie is known for her problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and ability to multi-task with poise and professionalism. She started her insurance career in 2014 at a large financial insurance agency in Newport News, Virginia where she sold a variety of products including auto, home, boat, RV, motorcycle, and commercial lines coverages. A top-producer in the southeast region of Virginia, Jaimie is known to provide high-level, timely and professional customer service. Originally from Virginia, Jaimie recently relocated to the lakes region of New Hampshire and will be based in our Wolfeboro, New Hampshire office. She enjoys spending time with her two children, their cat Prince, and shelling on the beach.

Jean Marie McNamara

Jean Marie McNamara joined Avery as a Support Administrator to assist the Personal Lines team with the servicing and managing of our valued Avery Gold clients. In her role, she provides support to the current account managers. She will be working on her agency licensing so she can assist clients with policy requests and manage a book of business in the future. Before joining Avery, she worked as a licensed Client Manager for a NH healthcare company. She managed large group employer benefits for some of the top employers in the state. She also has experience as a Human Resources benefits administrator. In the last several years she has worked as a certified Veterinary Technician. She looks forward to using her varied skills to be a strong advocate for clients and provide exceptional customer-focused service with Avery. Outside of work, Jean Marie is an outdoor enthusiast and a New England 67 mountain finisher. She enjoys hiking, mountain biking, paddleboarding, yoga, and all things outside. She lives on the NH Seacoast and spends a lot of time with her two young adult college students and her two Australian Shepherd dogs, SmuttyNose & Maple.

Jeannie Burns

Based in the Wolfeboro, New Hampshire office, Jeannie will enhance client relationships by providing a broad range of administrative support activities for Avery's personal and commercial lines teams. Jeannie is a graduate of Colby-Sawyer College and has a background in nonprofit agencies and customer service. After spending several years living and traveling out west, Jeannie is happy to call the Lakes Region home. She is most content when spending time with her husband and son in their garden, seeing live music, or planning potlucks with friends.

Justine Miley

In the fall of 2022, Justine Miley joined the agency as a Senior Claims Advisor. In this newly-created role, Justine will oversee all aspects of the claims process, conduct trend analysis and reserve reduction efforts, and will proactively educate clients on the impact claims have on their overall insurance program. In 2011, Justine began her insurance career on the north shore of Massachusetts as a Billing Customer Care Specialist. In 2013, she became an Automobile Claims Adjuster and eventually served as a Claims Account Manager. She is a licensed NH Property & Casualty Adjuster and holds an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation, along with an Associate in Insurance (AINS) designation. Justine grew up in Beverly, Massachusetts. In 2015, she moved to Londonderry, NH where she currently resides with her daughter and two goldendoodles. She enjoys shopping, the beach, hiking, reading thrillers, and arcades.

Kaitlyn Haines

With 10 years of industry experience, Kaitlyn handles ongoing management of personal lines accounts with a focus on working with successful individuals and families within Avery's premier client services program, Avery GOLD. Recently recognized as "Best Insurance Agent" by Laconia Daily Sun, Kaitlyn has in-depth knowledge of various types of personal insurance policies and understands the importance of identifying her clients' unique needs. Kaitlyn is an excellent communicator who can explain the details of the policies clearly and accurately so our clients can make informed decisions. We can count on her to troubleshoot any problems that may come up and provide the most effective and appropriate solutions for our clients. With more than 40 years of experience in the independent insurance agency system, Karyn was recently recognized for maintaining her Certified Insurance Counselor for 31 years! You will appreciate her practical, real-world understanding of complex exposures and her best-in-class approach to protection. Prior to joining Avery, she managed an insurance agency in Boston. Karyn moved to Wolfeboro, NH in 1989 and enjoys walking, kayaking, and traveling. She has three grown sons and a growing grandchild population.

Kelly McGrail

Kelly joined Avery's Personal Insurance department as an Account Manager based in the Portsmouth office. In this dynamic role, Kelly will manage and administer personal insurance portfolios for Avery clients; provide prompt and courteous service; process client changes and inquiries and satisfy questions about coverage needs. Kelly has more than six years of insurance experience as an account manager and is quite comfortable assessing insurance needs to offer a complete approach to asset protection. She is familiar with Avery's roster of carriers and is looking forward to having a team to collaborate with to solve insurance challenges. Prior to insurance, Kelly worked as a customer service professional where she developed extensive organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Kelly lives in Kittery, ME with her husband and 2-year-old daughter, Sloane. She loves insurance and is excited to build her career with Avery.

Kristi Artigues

Kristi is a Senior Risk Advisor for Avery Insurance South, located in New Orleans. She joined Avery in October 2018 and was immediately tasked with opening the southern office location and managing ongoing operations. Passionate about people, she uses her many years of customer service to be a trusted advisor and ensure the protection of her clients' assets. She is known to work tirelessly to find the best coverage and insurance solutions for Avery clients. Prior to starting her career in insurance, she served as a Director of Sales & Marketing representing Hilton, Marriott, and a few boutique hotels in New Orleans. She oversaw the production of hotel sales teams while playing an integral part in the marketing arena. Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Kristi holds a B.A. degree in Communications from the University of Louisiana. She and her husband Sidney and their four children Sydney, William, Matthew, and Nicholas have made New Orleans their home since 1994. Kristi loves family and friends, traveling, and listening to live music, especially at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

In 2018, Lauren was named Director of Personal Insurance and is enjoying her leadership role. As a member of our Avery Gold team, our Premier Client Services program, Lauren has had the opportunity to work with successful individuals and families to ensure their asset protection program meets their unique and often, complex needs. In 2019, she earned her Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA) certification after completing an 18-month, intensive program designed to help insurance professionals gain a deeper understanding of the high net worth insurance market.

Mary Fredette joined Avery in 2019 as a Commercial Risk Placement Advisor and Staff Mentor. She started her career in independent insurance agencies in the 1980s; working with clients in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont and Upstate New York. Mary coordinates with our team and insurance carriers in placing new clients with the best program offering available. Mary is also an insurance instructor for the Massachusetts Association for Independent Agents (MAIA) where she teaches other agents in New England commercial insurance, with a core focus on Property, Auto and Workers Compensation. When Mary is not serving our valued clients, she enjoys gardening and camping. Mary is a self-avowed "Insurance Nerd" and is always ready for a challenging coverage solution to be found.

Michael Valeri

Michael also assists with assorted HR-related tasks such as talent sourcing, acquisition, onboarding, and benefits administration. With a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College and a Graduate Certificate in Data Science from the University of New Hampshire, Michael's strong writing skills, technological expertise, attention to detail, and investigative nature make him a valuable resource for our clients. Originally from Bedford, NH, Michael lives in Portsmouth, dabbles in piano, enjoys creative writing, and has a black belt in Taekwondo.

Robert Enderson

Robert joined Avery as a Risk Specialist Apprentice working closely with our seasoned commercial team to focus on new business and renewals support. Robert has been in insurance since he graduated from the University of Colorado's Risk Management and Insurance program. Robert was inspired to explore the insurance profession as a result of going through a workplace injury; his experience with the workers compensation claims process prompted him to become an insurance advocate and help people protect what matters most. His career began in Personal Insurance before pursing an opportunity to utilize his degree working on the Commercial Insurance side. He is currently working on his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation-a nationally recognized and highly respected insurance professional title. Robert is actively licensed in ME, NH, and MA. Robert lives in Kittery with his wife, Whitney, and their two young children, Hank and Lucy and dog Baxter.

Samantha Potter

Sarah joined Avery as a Senior Commercial Risk Specialist. Sarah has 40+ years in the insurance industry. She started her career working at Hannon-Ryan a family-owned agency in Massachusetts where her roots in the industry were planted. After a short sabbatical living in the Caribbean, she returned to insurance business spending twenty years with Knapp, Schneck & Co, a large Boston agency, where she handled large commercial accounts. In 2008, she became a co-owner of Central Insurance Associates in West Ossipee, New Hampshire and most recently, she worked for HUB International New England. We are excited to add her professionalism, industry expertise, and critical thinking skills to our growing team. Sarah lives in Wolfeboro near her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys the beach, the lake, boating, golf, travel and most importantly spending time with family and friends.

Sheila Skelley

Stacey Richard

Stacey is a Personal Lines Account Manager out of the Wolfeboro, NH office. Before becoming a licensed agent in the Spring of 2019, she was a Veterinarian Technician at the Milton Veterinary Hospital. She has a lot of compassion and love for animals, except snakes! She has a family dog, Milly, who goes almost everywhere with her. Stacey is a native of Beverly, Massachusetts. In 2005, Stacey, her husband David, and their two children, Owen and Claire moved to Wolfeboro. Stacey enjoys the outdoors in all four seasons in New Hampshire. She especially loves snowmobiling and snowshoeing in winter. And, in the summer she loves water activities at her camp on the Milton Three Ponds.

Stephanie Valpey

Susan Saucier

After graduating from Fontebonne Academy, Susan worked in Banking for 12 years, receiving a certificate in Business Management. Susan has been in the Insurance industry since 1999 and acquired her license in 2006. She lived in Massachusetts all her life until recently relocating to her New Hampshire home. Tim Weddleton

Tim joined Avery Insurance in March 2017 after working at Cross Insurance for the previous 7 years. As a contractor specialist, Tim has developed a loyal customer base that he continues to manage at Avery Insurance. Tim's accomplished career includes extensive experience in high-end residential real estate development as well as strategic sales and marketing experience for large resort developers at Loon Mountain and The Mount Washington Resort. Tim holds a Business Management degree from Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg, FL where he was a member of the men's basketball team. He also holds an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation, as well as real estate licenses in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Tim resides in Greenland, NH with his wife Lauren and their two children, Grant and Lucy. Tim obtained his private pilot's license in 2018 and is an avid golfer, skier, and cyclist.

Tod O'Dowd - President

Tod O'Dowd is the 4th generation owner of Avery Insurance. He joined the firm in 1994 after attending the Commercial Union School for Agents. Tod earned his Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) designation in 1998 and holds the High-Net-Worth Insurance designation program CAPI (Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance) created by the Wharton School and Chubb. Tod specializes in the asset protection needs of business owners and high-net-worth clients. His diverse background in working with a wide range of industries and businesses enables him to provide critical insight and expert advice to clients in the areas of risk analysis, cost containment, risk transfer strategies, and implementation. A past president of the New Hampshire Professional Insurance Agents Association (PIA), Tod participates on several insurance company advisory boards. He also has served on various non-profit organization boards of directors such as Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce, Abenaki Ski Area, NH Children's Museum and the NH Charitable Foundation. In 2012, he was named New Hampshire Business Review's (NHBR) Businessman of the Year. A NH native, married with 2 children, Tod is a former US Navy helicopter crew chief and air rescue operator. He was awarded a Navy Air Medal and Medal of Commendation for this work with Navy Seal Teams conducting tactical operations. Tod enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, swimming, golf, tennis and is an avid skier working with the Ski Instructors of America as an examiner/course conductor.

Tracie Morey

Tracie joined us in the fall of 2022 as a Personal Lines Account Manager. She started her insurance career in 2008 eventually becoming a licensed Property and Casualty Producer in the State of Maine. Tracie is comfortable working with both Personal Insurance Clients as well as Commercial Accounts. Tracie holds her Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation, is a Legal Principles Claims Specialist, and recently earned her Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) Designation Originally from South Berwick, Maine, she currently resides in Stonington with her husband Bennett, daughters Kaylee and Aubrey, and their two dogs Bruin and Roscoe. She loves being outdoors hiking with her husband and their dogs, baking, and watching Kaylee play collegiate softball and Aubrey compete on the cheer mat with her teams.

Vicki O'Dowd - VP

As Vice President, Vicki oversees agency operations for Avery. She taps into her extensive business management experience to build road maps to keep the firm evolving, execute proactive growth strategies, and address client and staff needs. Vicki joined Tod in agency management shortly after 2000. In addition, Vicki is very involved the community serving on non-profit boards and committees. Currently, she serves on the Music Hall Board of Directors and its Major Gifts and Corporate Development Committees. Past involvement includes the Nick Recreation Park Board of Directors and the Wolfeboro Downtown Master Plan Committee. Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Vicki graduated from the University of Louisiana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Vicki and Tod split their time between the Lakes Region and the Seacoast, have two grown children, Kate and Evan, and a Labradoodle named Millie.
