CSD

CSD therapy is effective. Our feeling is that CSD is becoming a popular therapy for chronic low back pain. CSD studies thus far have been promising and many patients have been successfully treated with CSD therapy. Since its introduction into our office in 2003, we have been impressed with the results we have seen with our patients... CSD therapy can isolate each lumbar vertebrae. We are able to program precise cycles of decompressive forces aimed at taking pressure off of injured structures. This high-tech therapy has been shown to create a small separation at targeted disc spaces and the pressure within an injured disc can be lowered. This "negative" pressure allows for water, oxygen, and nutrients to be flushed into the injured disc and can create a circumstance that will allow for healing. In our opinion, this circumstance would be impossible to achieve without the assistance of CSD therapy.
