BALLROOM BALLOONS - Key Persons

Agnes Bikie

Job Titles:
  • Twister in Chief
Agnes has been passionate about balloons for over ten years. A few years ago, she became fascinated with creating balloon dresses. She became so enamored with that part of the balloon art world that she traveled to China in 2019 to learn from one of the masters in the world. Agnes is a person of deep faith, who, in addition to her great talents, brings a spirit and soulfulness to the company for which we are truly grateful. Agnes is a Certified Balloon Artist.

David Silva

Job Titles:
  • Chief Balloon Artist
David splits his time teaching art and decorating with Ballroom Balloons, which he has been doing for more years than he cares to admit. The truth is, he used to live across the street from Stan and knocked on his door one day looking for "work" when he was eleven years old. One of David's great recent achievements was coordinating an installation where nearly two hundred custom vinyl decals had to be affixed to forty-five giant balloons. David once drove from Maryland to Georgia just to inflate one giant balloon for our client. David is a graduate of MICA, the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.

Jenny Henry

Job Titles:
  • Consulting Affiliater
Jenny has worn many hats in the artistic world. Performing bubble shows and working as a balloon twister for many years, she only took a shine to event decorating about ten years ago. Jenny is wise beyond her years and is friends with hundreds of artists the world over. When she finds the time to help Ballroom Balloons, we are all so very happy. Jenny is a Navy veteran with a wry sense of humor and an unquenchable thirst for coffee. One of her proudest industry moments came in 2018, when she assisted a blind balloon artist and his team, who had come to Washington, DC from Seoul, South Korea for a mammoth build at a major museum. Jenny was on the large sculpture team that won first place in an international competition that same year. Jenny is a Certified Balloon Artist.

Stan Rosen

Job Titles:
  • Founder & Head Designer
When Stan isn't ballooning around town, he enjoys attending concerts and theater with his wife, Venla. Stan plays the drums and sings. He also acts in and directs community theater productions. One of his proudest business achievements was providing decorations and confetti launches for the Christening of the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier in Newport News. Stan's funniest moment in the balloon biz was when he decorated an event at the Capital Hilton a day early. The group that had an event in the ballroom that day was so happy. No one could figure out who ordered the balloons so they had the hotel call us. That's how he found out in time to decorate again the next day! Stan has attended numerous week long balloon education seminars including three World Balloon Conventions. He is a Certified Balloon Artist (CBA).
