BASMA CENTRE

The Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre is located on the mount of olives- Jerusalem. Started operating in 1964. Since then, the Centre has treated thousands of Palestinian children with disabilities, while hosting their mothers and empowering their families. We believe in active communication and interaction, therefore, we are always in the field lighting the way for our partners and children. We envision all Palestinian children with disabilities having access to quality health services and inclusive education can participate and influence, and have hope and opportunities. Our inclusive school incubates yearly on average 450 students from East Jerusalem. A third of them are children with disabilities. We provide education in inclusive and special classes. In addition, we aim to provide opportunities for our students with and without disabilities to achieve success and be able to live a better future...
