In late 2003 when the company that Mitchell Carr worked for decided to downsize, Mitchell decided to put the expertise he had developed over the 27 years of his employment to work for himself. With the help of his nephew, Travis Newman, Benton Steel Fabrication, Inc. was established in January 2004. The company was named for Mitchell's father and Travis's grandfather as a reminder that their company would be run in the same spirit that Benton Carr lived. Hard work, fairness, honesty and integrity were the guiding principles of Mr. Carr's life and Benton Steel Fabrication, Inc. is dedicated to operating under those same principles.
