BIRD GEOPHYSICAL

The mission of Bird Geophysical is to interpret gravity and magnetic data, on both proprietary and speculative bases. Geologic principles and examples underpin the best gravity and magnetic data interpretations. Therefore I prefer to have access to all available geophysical and geological data, as well as current literature for a study area, while interpreting. Interpretation techniques include depth-to-magnetic source analyses, trend and lineament analyses, modeling, and anomaly enhancement. Modeling includes 2D and 3D forward and inverse methods. Application of these techniques are covered in two articles I wrote for the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Explorer in May and June, 1997 (see Publications).
