Aviv Kadosh

Aviv Kadosh has been involved in public accounting for almost 25 years. He earned a bachelor's degree in Economics with an emphasis in accounting from UC Santa Barbara. A few years later, he obtained his master of business taxation from the University of Southern California. He enjoys working with all kinds of clients, large and small. His experience includes tax compliance and consultation for individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profits. Aviv moved to the Central Coast a little over 15 years ago. He is married and has three girls and one Golden Retriever. His passion includes gardening, home improvement projects, spending time with family, and going on hikes with his dog. He also likes to sing the blues.

Carla S. Hudson

Carla S. Hudson, CPA, ABV is a partner in the Monterey office. Carla is a graduate of Monterey High School, Monterey Peninsula College and San Jose State University. A CPA since 1977, Carla's experience prior to Bianchi Kasavan & Pope, LLP (BKP) includes CFO of a national real estate operating company, auditor with a national CPA firm; and, founding partner of a Monterey CPA firm which merged with BKP in 2007. Carla's professional focus has been business entities and individual tax compliance and planning. Her auditing and corporate background provides a perspective from a business owner's view. She has guided many successful businesses from start-up, through growth and succession. Her ability to solve problems is equal to her vast knowledge of taxation and accounting. Carla's governance experience ranges from past president of the Boys & Girls Club, to director and treasurer of both private and publicly traded companies; as well as private foundations. Carla's outside interests include greenhouse and raised bed gardening, epicurean cooking, photography, sewing, knitting and reading and maintaining constant communications with family.

Charles Doglione

Charles Doglione is a native of the Salinas Valley and graduated from Hartnell College in 1974 with an associate's degree in general education. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State University at Fresno in 1976. Mr. Doglione joined Kasavan & Pope, LLP in 1978 and became a partner in 1988. As a partner of Bianchi, Kasavan& Pope, LLP, his areas of expertise in small business include general contractors, construction, and agriculture .As a community contributor and leader, Mr. Doglione volunteers as a coach in youth sports and is active in the Hollister Kiwanis Club, which provides important youth services to the community. He is also a member of the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce.

David G. Huey

David G. Huey is a partner in the Monterey Office. David is a graduate of San Jose State University and has 45 years of experience in all aspects of accounting. He is a founding partner of a Monterey CPA firm which merged, after 27 years, with Bianchi, Kasavan & Pope, LLP in 2007. His 45 years of experience also includes CFO of a multi-state mortgage banking firm, CFO of an international instrument manufacturing company, Treasurer of the City of Seaside, CA; and, Adjunct Professor of Auditing at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey. From 1969 to 1971 David was fortunate to be an NCO in the U.S. Army Security Agency. Supervision of 30 enlisted personnel at age 23 provides insight to management not taught in business school.

Gail Delorey

Gail Delorey has lived in the Salinas Valley her entire life, spending the first two years in Greenfield, the next seven years in King City and the remainder (she doesn't want to mention how many…) in Salinas. Her professional areas of interest revolve around consulting with small businesses and individual tax planning. She especially enjoys working with the elderly and their families. She has been in practice for 45 years with the same firm. Although the name has changed several times, she is proud to say the commitment to quality tax and accounting services has remained the same. During her time away from the office she loves to spend time with her family (including her new grandson!), working in her garden and is actively involved in non-profit organizations. She especially enjoys sporting events. You can find her on most Friday evenings during football season on one of the local gridirons as a volunteer for the Palma football team where she has served as a videographer since 2002.

Gordon Rubbo

Gordon Rubbo was born and raised in the Salinas Valley. He has been in public accounting since he joined Kasavan & Pope, LLP in 1974. He graduated from Golden Gate University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in June of 1979 and became a CPA in June of that same year. He was named partner in 1982 and, six years later, was appointed managing partner of the firm. Gordon specializes in estate planning, trust administration, and general taxation. He holds a Certificate of Educational Achievement for Personal Financial Planning from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as a Certificate of Completion in Advanced Personal Financial Planning from the California CPA Foundation for Education and Research. Gordon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently a member of the Salinas Steinbeck Rotary Club. He serves as board member of the CPE Forum of the Central Coast. He is also a director of Pacific Valley Bank. He is a past president of the Castroville Rotary Club and past district treasurer of Rotary District 5230 (1986-87 and 2010-11). He is past president of Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley, Inc. Gordon enjoys traveling and going to concerts with his wife, Lynda of 33 years.

Jarrod Penner

Jarrod Penner grew up in a small agriculture town in California's Central Valley. Jarrod moved to the Central Coast to attend California State University, Monterey Bay, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. Jarrod has over fourteen years of experience in public accounting and joined Bianchi, Kasavan & Pope, LLP in 2010. Jarrod is an Equity Partner and Partner-in-Charge of the Monterey office where his areas of expertise include assurance and tax services for non-for-profit, local government, small business and construction industry clients. Jarrod and his wife, Leslie, currently reside in Monterey with their two sons. When Jarrod is away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the best of the Central Coast.

Jesse Lopez - CEO

Jesse Lopez is the Managing Partner of Bianchi, Kasavan & Pope, LLP. He was born and raised in South Monterey County and attended Fresno State University. Tax laws change often and nearly every financial decision leads to tax ramifications. Using his 20 years of experience Jesse can help you develop a strategy around your financial situation to minimize income tax and stay in compliance with federal and state income tax laws. When he's not servicing his clients or working with his partner's on firm projects, Jesse and his family enjoy time at the lake and supporting their favorite team, the Oakland Raiders.

Joseph A Garcia

Joseph A Garcia became a partner of Bianchi, Kasavan & Pope, LLP in 1985. He attended Gavilan College and studied online through Liberty University to later become a California Registered Tax Preparer (CRTP), specializing in individual and small business income tax return preparation. Based in the Hollister office, he oversees all aspects of finance and IT functions, which include managing BKPs internal network system and external hardware and software platforms for BKP clients. He maintains functionality between BKPs three office locations and manages multiple servers, all while maintaining Network and Data Security Measures between Offices.

Mary Hubbell

Mary Hubbell is a lifelong resident of San Benito County and feels fortunate to be able to spend both her professional and private life in this community. She was raised on a small farm/ranch outside of Hollister so her heart is rooted in the agricultural traditions of the community. After graduating from San Jose State University, she began her career working for an explosive manufacturer, moved to a large cattle ranch and then settled to this accounting firm approximately 35 years ago. Mary helps emerging businesses organize their accounting functions. She is known for her personal touch when working with clients and utilizes a wide variety of resources and skills to deliver solutions with value to our clients. Mary volunteers for numerous community non-profit organizations. She was honored as the 1994 Woman of the Year by the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce former work with Red Cross, Immaculate Conception Church, the Historical Society, Kiwanis Club, Coats and Shoes for Kids, Inc., the Economic Development Corporation, and the Portuguese Society. Her free time is spent with family, working with nonprofits, sailing, gardening and enjoying her husband's many hobbies.

Robert Bianchi

Bob Bianchi grew up in California's Central Valley. He attended University of San Francisco, graduating with a B.S. in Accounting in 1975. After six years with the Stockton accounting firm of Grant, Thornton he moved to the Monterey area and entered private industry, becoming a partner in a privately held oil and gas exploration company. After growing the company into a multi-state oil producer, he and his partner sold the enterprise to a publicly traded company in 1991. Mr. Bianchi then used his unique experience of being on both sides of the desk to form the accounting firm of Bianchi & Company in Hollister, California. He merged his company with the accounting partnership of Ron Domingues and Kerry Lorincz in September, 1996, and the firm has since expanded to become Bianchi, Kasavan & Pope, LLP, a premier Central Coast public accounting firm with offices in Monterey, Hollister and Salinas. In 1999 Mr. Bianchi successfully completed the Business Valuation courses offered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
