The Company closed out its 25th and final season on September 14, 2021 at The Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater. As part of the show, our long-time PD partner, David Leventhal of Mark Morris Dance Group's Dance for PD program announced our partnerships with The Kennedy Center, George Mason University's School of Dance and Maryland Youth Ballet to continue free Dance for Parkinson's Disease (Dance for PD®) classes... Securing a future for BMDC's Dance for PD Program was an organizational priority in the nonprofit's dissolution plan (effective October 31, 2021). The continuation of the PD programs demonstrates Lucy Bowen's lasting commitment to serving the Parkinson's Disease community.
