My name is Rose Alvarado and I am the Internal Residential Loan Manager and a Loan Officer here at Bogota Savings Bank. I am a graduate of Katherine Gibbs College Business Administration and Management program. I have been working in the mortgage banking industry for 15 years gaining experience and know every step of the way. Before joining the Bogota Savings Bank team in November of 2015, I worked for Summit Bank and Wells Fargo Financial. Although I never imagined I would have engaged myself in mortgage lending and been such an integral part of people buying a home, I am so glad that my life has taken me to where I am today. I love coming to work every day knowing that I get to have a small part in making first time home buyers dreams come true or helping to finance a new kitchen for a family that has been dreaming of one for years. Throughout my career I have been entrusted with important responsibilities such as evaluating income and assets to guide in specific scenarios to meet my borrower's needs. I work closely with the borrower to make sure that we find the best product for each individual and I strive to ensure the customer's needs are met. I have been awarded top sales individual and I believe this has come from my effort in providing genuine customer service, something that Bogota Savings Bank prides themselves on.
When I am not working, I enjoy helping the community. I am involved in the choir ministry and enjoy photography. It provides me with the ability to pay attention to detail, which leads to my analytical skills. I am a mother of three and I enjoy to travel and to be outdoors with my family as much as possible. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been a huge soccer fan and because of this I have my whole family rooting for Barcelona! I have always enjoyed meeting new people and learning from new experiences and I look forward to working with my customers through the process of helping them with their borrowing needs.
