Jake started his career in custom audio in 2009 at a small detail shop, moving up from the bottom as he quickly realized his motivation and passion for the art.
As an up-and-coming installer, his favorite part of the field has always been in custom building. From subwoofer boxes and vinyl panels to fiberglass builds, he thrives on it all.
His hobbies outside work include drawing, mechanic work and kayaking. He enjoys the outdoors and working with his hands.
Jesse has been in the industry for more than 16 years and is both ASE- and MECP-certified. He looks for any opportunity for ongoing training: He attended in-depth courses at Mobile Dynamics and has been to multiple classes at Mobile Solutions and the annual car audio trade show known as Knowledgefest.
He is passionate about the electronics involved in our industry, as well as about learning new techniques that can improve his craft. Helping younger employees grow in their careers with Boomers is another area where Jesse really shines.
For Jesse, the favorite thing about our industry is the fact that every single job is different and there is never a dull moment.
His hobbies include biking, home improvement projects, spending time with his family and finding new places to eat.
Jesse doesn't have a favorite vehicle and prefers never to own the same car twice.
Mike is the face of Boomers Audio. If you've ever heard of Boomers, you've
heard of Mike. Almost every customer gets the chance to work with him. Mike's personality can draw crowds, since he is energetic, wacky, and tries to make everything more fun and interesting. He started in the industry in 1988 and competed in the audio circuit until 2002. He won numerous awards from IASCA and USACi, and was also a sound quality judge for both sanctioning bodies. You could say he understands how to make a vehicle sound great.
Mike regularly attends offsite education that includes manufacturer training, plus highly skilled installation training from Mobile Soundstage Engineering and Kingpin University.
He is passionate about music and started Boomers Audio as a one-man show in 2002; he was the owner, salesperson and installer.
Mike's hobbies include dirtbike racing and trail riding. If you asked him his favorite vehicle, he would tell you a 1971 supercharged z28 Camaro, one he previously owned.
Sandy is the head honcho of operations for Boomers Audio. She keeps everything running smoothly in the background. Like Mike, she has been in the industry since 1988 and has competed in both IASCA and USACi sound-off competitions. She has even helped with prestigious events like Spring Break Nationals and the SLAP Midwest Region shows.
