Adolphe Binder - Founder

is Artistic Director and Intendant of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. 2011-2016 she ran GöteborgsOperans Danskompani in Sweden as Artistic Director. She is focussed on the initiation and creative production of multidisciplinary stage art. Since 1995 she has been majorly active in the dance art arena. In 2005 she founded our creative agency BPB and directed it for the following 6 years. Adolphe has previously acted as Artistic and Managing Director of BerlinBallet at Komische Oper and Head Dramaturge at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin. Adolphe has also worked as Curator and Program Director for theaters as well as international festivals including World Expo2000 in Hanover. She is appointed to a number of boards of international dance organisations and has served on the jury of diverse dance organisations and competitions.

Blanca Li

Blanca Li is a choreographer, a film director, a dancer and an actress. Whether in performance, opera, video clip or feature film, she initiates and realises a great number of projects: not restricted to one style, she works in a broad spectrum of physical forms of expression, from flamenco to classical ballet to hip-hop. With Blanca Li everything begins and ends in the energy of movement and dance. Born in Granada, Spain, she studied in New York with Martha Graham before setting up her own dance company in Paris, where she has created eleven choreographic pieces since 1993. The Opéra de Paris commissioned her to create Les Indes Galantes and the ballet Shéhérazade. She was director of the BerlinBallett at the Komische Oper from 2001 to 2002. Familiar with the cinema as a choreographer, she wrote and directed her first feature film, Le Défi, as a tribute to American musical comedies translated to the world of French hip-hop and inspired by her 2002 show, Macadam Macadam.

Joanna Dudley

Joanna Dudley works internationally as a director, performer and singer creating music theatre, installation and choreography. She studied early and contemporary music at the Adelaide Conservatorium, Australia and the Sweelink Conservatorium, The Netherlands. On scholarships she has also studied traditional Japanese music in Tokyo and traditional dance and music as well as pop music in Solo, Java where she became embraced as an iconic pop performer. While in Berlin, Joanna worked as a guest director and performer at the Schaubuehne. Works created there include "My Dearest, My Fairest" with Juan Kruz Diaz de Garaio Esnaola and "colours may fade" with Esnaola and Rufus Didwiszus. Other works in collaboration with Didwiszus include the solo music theatre piece, "The Scorpionfish, Who Killed Cock Robin? with the Flemish vocal ensemble Capilla Flamenca and most recently LOUIS & BEBE with the electro musician Schneider TM.
