Aldo E. Botti

Aldo Botti has extensive Federal and State trial experience involving complex legal matters that include commercial and business disputes, personal injury, family law, and criminal law. He has represented national and international corporations, as well as individuals in federal and state courts in a number of jurisdictions throughout the United States. An experienced litigator recognized for his extensive, innovative and thorough trial preparation, Mr. Botti has been selected to be the lead trial attorney in cases that are already in progress. Mr. Botti has won numerous multi-million dollar awards for clients or their families, and has tried numerous high profile criminal and commercial cases. Because Aldo Botti is a highly respected and versatile trial lawyer who represents individuals as well as large corporations, he has been selected by his peers as a member of the Illinois Super Lawyers. He is listed as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Illinois by the American Trial Lawyers Association, and is certified by the Supreme Court Capital Litigation Trial Bar. Mr. Botti is also certified as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is recognized as the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to trial attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience and excellence in advocacy by achieving a verdict award or settlement in the amount of one million dollars or more. Currently, Mr. Botti concentrates on high award personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability, family law, and complex corporate and criminal law cases. In 1990, Mr. Botti was overwhelmingly elected as the Chairman of DuPage County, and he served for four years. While serving in Wheaton, Illinois as County Board Chairman, he was elected President of the Metropolitan Counties. Mr. Botti has been a guest speaker and lecturer at various seminars and has been recognized in the National Who's Who of Attorneys, and Martindale Hubbell Publication AV Rating. Additionally, Mr. Botti is a United States Army Veteran (U.S. Army Intelligence). Mr. Botti started his distinguished legal career as an Assistant State's Attorney, DuPage County. After starting his private practice, Mr. Botti also served as a Deputy Public Defender. Mr. Botti has authored articles dealing with Illinois child custody and civil practice that have been published in the Illinois Bar Journal and lectured his peers on civil practice matters. Mr. Botti is very active in the DuPage County community and has served on the boards of many organizations including: The Illinois State Crime Commission Community House, Hinsdale Resources for Autistic Families

Jean M. Lasics-Wessels

Jean M. Lasics-Wessels joined Botti Law Firm P.C. in 1995 as an associate attorney, and became a partner with the firm in 2001 due to her strong work ethic and unrelenting determination in her cases. As a member of the firm's team of civil litigation attorneys, Mrs. Lasics-Wessels represents clients in all aspects of family law and commercial litigation, in both trial and appellate courts in various jurisdictions. In addition to her trial work, Mrs. Lasics-Wessels is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and DuPage County Bar Association. Mrs Lasics-Wessels is an advocate for the disabled and is a recipient of the 2014 Illinois State Crime Commission/Police Athletic League of Illinois Bishop Sheil Award.

John E. Botti

John Botti is an experienced trial attorney who considers it an honor to help his clients persevere through their respective legal disputes while working vigorously to get them the best possible results. John cut his teeth as a felony prosecutor working closely with victims of crimes to ensure their rights were protected in the courtroom. He uses this perspective to create exceptional attorney-client relationships premised on the principles of respect and fierce protection of legal rights. This serves him extremely well when he represents divorce clients as well as those people seriously injured as a result of someone else's misconduct. John has tried hundreds of cases before judges and juries and this extensive trial experience has made him a highly effective litigator. John fights for his clients inside the courtroom and empathizes with them outside of it. Michael R. Botti

Michael Botti earned his Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University and his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Michigan State University in 2001. Soon after graduating from Michigan State, Mr. Botti began working as an Assistant State's Attorney in DuPage County. As a misdemeanor assistant, Michael Botti prosecuted thousands of cases, was the First Chair in a General Misdemeanor courtroom, and was responsible for prosecuting all types of misdemeanor offenses from DUI, retail theft and battery to criminal sexual assault. As a felony assistant, Michael Botti prosecuted all types of felony cases before being promoted to the Narcotics Unit, where he prosecuted major drug offenses. While in the state's attorney's office, Mr. Botti was also involved in training new police officers from all over the State of Illinois. When Mr. Botti left the State's Attorney's Office, he was a Second Chair Felony Assistant, and had tried hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases before judges and juries. In October of 2005, Michael Botti joined Botti Law Firm, P.C. Mr. Botti continues to practice criminal law, defending clients in traffic, misdemeanor and felony cases in both federal and state court. He also handles civil matters including personal injury and family law, and represents clients in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, Will, Winnebago, DeKalb, McHenry, and Kendall counties. Michael is also the attorney for the Illinois State Crime Commission.
