BOYCE AND SCHAEFER - Key Persons
Benjamin B. Kington is a 2008 graduate of the Moritz College of Law at the Ohio State University. He moved to San Diego in 2009 and has practiced criminal law exclusively since then. Mr. Kington has represented clients in San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial county superior courts, federal court for the Southern District of California, the California Courts of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of California.
He serves on the board of the Criminal Defense Bar Association of San Diego, and was previously Executive Director for that organization.
Robert E. Boyce has practiced criminal law in San Diego for over forty years. He is an AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell's AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating and is certified by the State Bar of California as a Criminal Law Specialist. He has been listed in the Woodward and White publication "Best Lawyers in America" as one of the best criminal defense lawyers in San Diego for over 10 years.
Mr. Boyce has represented clients charged with serious felonies in California state and federal courts, including death penalty and murder cases, and sex offenses. He has tried over 200 state and federal jury trials to verdict. He has obtained acquittals after jury trial for clients charged with serious felony offenses, including murder, rape and child molestation. He has represented individuals accused of crimes in a number of high profile cases in San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties.
