Until the autumn of 2009 the Great Brickhill bells were rung for weddings and before most services. Due to the condition of the bells and bellframe, for several years the number of bells that could be rung was restricted. Helped by the offer of grants from various bodies including the Parish Council, funding has been secured to enable full restoration of the bells and bell frame to take place...
In October 2009 the bells and bell frame were removed and the bells are currently at Whites of Appleton being restored. Work is being done to stregthen the tower and a new eight-bell cast iron frame will be installed. In the Spring of 2010 the six bells will be re-hung, along with two new bells that were cast in October by Whitechapel Bell Foundry where the existing six bells were cast...
