Chris Tuttle - CEO, President

Biography As President & Chief Executive Officer of Bridgewell, Mr. Tuttle is leading Bridgewell in its 6th decade of providing exceptional services that empower people with disabilities and other life challenges to live safe, self-directed and productive lives. As part of this role, he oversees and provides strategic direction for operational activities in support of regulations, policies, goals and objectives, including maintaining the exceptional quality of Bridgewell's services. Mr. Tuttle is actively involved in external activities that influence industry direction and enhance the operations of Bridgewell. Mr. Tuttle previously served as director of operations for NFI Massachusetts, Inc., supervising the senior managers of five divisions and overseeing the organization's budget. He was also director of behavioral health and director of adolescent residential services at NFI Massachusetts. Prior to this, he was director of the Northeast Regional Resource Center, health and education services, in Beverly. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for ADDP and The Captive Advantage. Mr. Tuttle earned a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University and a BS from Metropolitan State College.

Elaine White - COO

Biography As Chief Operating Officer, Ms. White is responsible for the day to day operations of the organization in all services provided in day programming, residential supports, employment, housing, recovery supports and outpatient behavioral health. These services support people with disabilities and other life challenges to live safe, self-directed and productive lives. Ms. White also provides oversight to the Quality Assurance and Facilities Departments. Ms. White's career with Bridgewell spans more than 35 years. She began as a direct support professional and advanced into numerous management positions within the organization, in program operations, facilities and administration. Ms. White earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Fitchburg State University and holds Housing Specialist certifications for HUD funded programs in Section 8 rent calculation and eligibility. Outside of Bridgewell, Ms. White is a member of Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS and the North Shore HOME Consortium. She has also served as the President of the Lynn Continuum of Care and Massachusetts Bay Self Insurance Group.

Erik Langhoff

Biography As Chief Development Officer of Bridgewell, Mr. Langhoff oversees fundraising, communications and marketing for the organization, and he serves on the Board's Development and Marketing Committee. Prior to joining the Bridgewell team, Mr. Langhoff worked for the American Cancer Society (ACS) for nearly 17 years in a variety of development and program operations roles. Most recently, he served as Regional Director of Hope Lodge Operations, overseeing the staff teams and operations of eight ACS Hope Lodge facilities in major cities across the east coast. He also oversaw fundraising and corporate and community partnership initiatives for the nationwide Hope Lodge program. Mr. Langhoff currently serves as President of the Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) Board of Directors. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and a BA in organizational communication and public relations from Winona State University. He has also earned two graduate certificates, in professional fundraising and nonprofit management and leadership, both from Boston University.

Jeff Bickford - CIO

Biography As Chief Information Officer at Bridgewell, Mr. Bickford leads IT operations and strategic planning efforts to ensure Bridgewell meets the current and future information technology needs of the organization and its affiliates. Mr. Bickford brings more than 25 years of IT leadership experience to the Bridgewell team. He served over a decade as the IT Director for the Town of Marblehead and North Shore Community College. Most recently, Mr. Bickford served as the CIO of Northern Essex Community College for 12 years. Mr. Bickford earned a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Salem State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He is a certified Scrum Master and a graduate of the Massachusetts Community College Leadership Academy as well as The Chair Academy.

Jessica M. Almeida

Biography Jessica Almeida oversees all of Bridgewell's day habilitation and community engagement programs, including employment and community-based day services programming, the Family Support Center, recreational programming, and four day habilitation programs. Ms. Almeida brings over 12 years of experience in disability services to Bridgewell, including supervision of residential and day programming. Prior to working for Bridgewell, Ms. Almeida served as the Senior Program Director at Vinfen, and previously worked at BAMSI and Perkins School for the Blind. Ms. Almeida earned her MBA from Springfield College, a BA from Lesley University and has an Applied Behavioral Analysis Certificate from UMass Boston. Her skills include nonprofit operations management, quality and compliance, and staff training and development. Outside of Bridgewell, Ms. Almeida is an athlete with Boston Roller Derby.

Joanna Huntington

Biography Ms. Huntington serves as Vice President of Recovery, Housing and Community Supports and is responsible for the oversight of Bridgewell's affordable housing, respite service, individual supports, and residential recovery services. She also works in collaboration with the Department of Public Health, the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Developmental Disabilities, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. While her primary focus is recovery and housing services, she participates in various committees and focus groups to understand the complexities and breadth of Bridgewell services. In addition, Ms. Huntington has been instrumental in writing several grants that have enhanced the services and revenue in recovery and housing services. Ms. Huntington's experience includes working at Department of Children and Families, Health and Education Services, Northeast Family institute, as well as operating a privately owned psychotherapy practice. Ms. Huntington works collaboratively with community partners including the Lynn Continuum of Care, Balance of State, various Drug Courts, and the Lynn Community Health Center. She earned a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from Salem State University and obtained her independent clinical license (LICSW) in 2010.

Biography Ms. Pottie oversees all aspects of Bridgewell's residential programs, including more than 70 Department of Development Service (DDS) residential programs throughout Eastern Massachusetts. Ms. Pottie has more than 20 years of experience in the human services field. She started as a Direct Support Professional and has advanced into management and leadership roles throughout her career. Ms. Pottie earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management from the University of Phoenix, and she has earned multiple leadership certifications.

Kenneth C. Halkin - CFO

Biography Kenneth C. Halkin, Chief Financial Officer, brings to Bridgewell a wealth of experience in financial and executive management in the field of health and human services. Prior to Bridgewell, Ken was the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer at Greater Lynn Senior Services, Inc. (GLSS) for eight years. In that role, he oversaw all aspects of the budget and financial management as well as IT and facilities functions. Prior to GLSS, Mr. Halkin was an independent management consultant for small and medium-sized businesses and non-profit organizations for over seven years and had previously held multiple leadership roles at Tri-City Mental Health Center and other human service agencies. In the public sector, Mr. Halkin has served as an area business manager for the Department of Mental Health and as CFO and COO of the state prison healthcare system. He has served on a number of non-profit boards and has a Master in Business Administration from Cornell University.

Kimberley J. Haley

Ms. Haley leads Bridgewell's outpatient mental health and behavioral support services as well as its START Clinical Support Services. Ms. Haley began her career with Bridgewell in 1999 as a member of the START Clinical team. Since then, she has advanced into other roles including that of Clinic Director at Sovner Center. Prior to joining Bridgewell, Ms. Haley worked as a manager for The May Institute in residential and vocational day services, with her focus being the support of individuals with autism. Ms. Haley earned her B.A. in Psychology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and her Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from UMASS Boston. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and has over twenty-five years of experience working with people dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities and mental illness.

Biography Kristin Guido is the Executive Assistant to Chris Tuttle, President and CEO. She also supports Bridgewell's management team, the Board of Directors and various sub-committees, including Bridgewell's Development Committee. Kristin is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years in the field. She brings extensive experience having worked with CEOs and high-level executives within the legal, medical, insurance, 401k and asset management fields. She received her paralegal degree from North Shore Community College.

Biography With more than 15 years of experience in human resources, Ms. Gkolemi leads Bridgewell's human resources department, which includes recruitment, compensation and benefits, payroll, employee and union relations, safety, employee training and oversees Bridgewell's Center for Professional Development. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Strategic Human Resources Management. Niovi is a Certified Trainer through the Chattered Institute of Personnel and Development in the United Kingdom with experience in designing and facilitating leadership trainings. Niovi is also an active Society for Human Resource Management member.
