Angela Hyde has been in her current role since 2024 and is responsible for providing oversight, management, and operational leadership of the human resources function by working with the vice presidents and executive team members to establish departmental goals, strategies, plans, budgets, and policies.
She joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2005. Over the years, she has served as employment & compensation specialist, benefits & compensation specialist, manager, and HR director. Before coming to Brotherhood Mutual, Angela worked in the HR department at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

Angela graduated from Bethel University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources and the Northern Indiana Human Resources Association. She attends Brookside Church with her family, where she and her husband serve in the children's ministry.

Christopher Harvey oversees two teams: Office Services and Network Services. He focuses on the stability, security, and performance of the systems that run the company's applications. They include networking, data security, communication services, computer equipment, and application servers. Chris joined Brotherhood Mutual in 1998 as a senior network engineer, and he was promoted to manager of network services in 2008.

Daryl Pannabecker joined Brotherhood Mutual in 1985 as a programmer. He was promoted to programmer analyst in 1988, to senior programmer analyst in 1993, and to assistant vice president of information systems in 1995. He became vice president information systems in 1996.
Daryl is a graduate of Bethel College with a degree in computer science and earned his CPCU designation in 1995. He has served on the board of trustees for both Bethel College and A Hope Center. He and his family attend Pathway Community Church.
Dave Lantz joined Brotherhood Mutual in 1996 as a casualty claims adjuster. He was named manager of casualty claims in 1998 and senior manager in 2007. Dave was promoted to assistant vice president in 2008 and his current position in 2010.

Dustin Grogg joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2016 as the director of underwriting, product quality and development. Before coming to Brotherhood Mutual, he held leadership roles in sales and underwriting for Protective Insurance Company in Carmel, Indiana. He assumed his current responsibilities in February 2020.
Dustin is a graduate of Purdue University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in management with concentrations in finance and marketing. He earned his CPCU designation in 2014 and also holds ARM and ARe designations. He and his family attend Emmanuel Community Church in Fort Wayne.

Erica Smith has been in her current role since 2024 and is responsible for underwriting operations including risk control services, estimating, underwriting services, and data and quality services.
She joined the company in 2022 as an underwriting manager before becoming director of underwriting product quality and development. Prior to joining Brotherhood Mutual, she spent 11 years with Shelter Insurance Companies.
Gabe Brown joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2000 and became assistant vice president of sales and special markets in 2015. He is a graduate of Anderson University with a B.A. in Business Management. In addition to leading overseas mission trips, Brown is active in Hope Grafted In, an organization his wife founded that promotes adoption and orphan care. Gabe's family attends County Line Church of God.

Jeff Renbarger served as advertising director for FirstEnergy Corp. in Akron, Ohio, where he spent 13 years overseeing advertising, creative services, and sports marketing. Jeff held executive creative roles with advertising agencies in Indianapolis and the Cleveland area before joining Brotherhood Mutual in May 2015.

Jennifer Hansen served as assistant vice president finance/controller before assuming her current role in February 2019. Moving up through the ranks since joining Brotherhood Mutual in 1996, some of Jennifer's past roles include controller, manager of accounting, and senior financial analyst.
Jennifer is a graduate of Indiana University, where she earned her MBA, as well as a bachelor's degree in accounting. In 2004, she also earned her CPCU designation. She attends Covenant United Methodist Church, where she is involved in care ministries.

Jordan Givan joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2020 as the company's director of actuarial research. He was promoted to assistant vice president of research & development in February 2022. Before coming to Brotherhood Mutual, he was a vice president and actuary with Swiss Re.

Givan holds a degree in actuarial science and mathematical economics from Ball State University.
He is a fellow in the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and serves on the Ball State Actuarial Science Advisory Board. Givan also has been certified as a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.
Givan is a board member of the Lightway Medical Foundation, supporting efforts to run a mission hospital serving the poor in Ecuador. He also serves as an elder at Highland Gospel Community Church, the church he attends with his family.
Josh Spencer joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2014 and held the position of senior actuary. He was promoted to assistant vice president and chief actuary in 2015. He assumed his current responsibilities in February 2019. Prior to coming to Brotherhood Mutual, he worked for Towers Watsonâs Risk Consulting and Software practice.
Lederman joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2011. He has held the roles of senior manager casualty/litigation claims, associate corporate counsel-compliance, and corporate attorney, Previous to joining Brotherhood Mutual, he was an agent at Lederman Insurance Agency.

Kathleen Turpin joined Brotherhood Mutual in 1996 as a litigation specialist in the claims department. She became associate corporate counsel in 1998 and assumed her current position in November 2003.
Kevin Schichner champions the company's efforts in all aspects of application analysis, development, and testing. Kevin joined the company in 2009 as a senior interaction developer. He was promoted to manager of application development in 2013 and became senior manager of application development in 2015.
Before joining the company, Kevin served a decade in the U.S. Army, becoming a decorated campaign veteran. He spent the following six years as a government contractor for Computer Sciences Corporation, QSS Group, Inc., and Perot Systems.
Kevin holds a bachelor's degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix and an associate's degree in computer information systems from Georgia Military College. He's also earned technical certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, and Scrum Alliance.

Mark Robison joined Brotherhood Mutual in 1994 as assistant vice president of finance and was promoted to vice president of finance in 1997. He was named vice president and treasurer in 1998. In 2006 he was named senior vice president and treasurer, in April 2007, president and treasurer, and in February 2008, he became president and CEO. In 2009, he was named chairman and president. Before coming to Brotherhood Mutual, he worked for seven years at Ernst & Young LLP as manager of auditing.

Mark joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2012 as an accountant II in the affiliates division. Before that, he was a supervisor at Baden Gage & Schroeder accounting firm. In 2014, Mark was promoted to senior accountant of affiliates before becoming director of MinistryWorks in 2014 and then as assistant vice president in 2018. He assumed his current role as assistant vice president of finance in 2023.

Matt Hirschy joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2008 as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. He became treasurer in 2009 and assumed his current position in 2018.

Before coming to Brotherhood Mutual, Matt spent four years as the chief financial officer at a Fort Wayne, Indiana, biomedical firm. He also spent the previous 15 years as a certified public accountant, serving 12 years at a local accounting firm and three years at Ernst & Young, LLP.
Matt holds an accounting degree from Manchester University and earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 1989. In 2016, he received his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Matt serves on the advisory board for the Northern Indiana Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He attends Pathway Community Church, where he serves on the finance team.

He joined the company in 2014 and has previously held the roles of associate corporate counsel, assistant vice president/senior corporate counsel, and assistant vice president, general counsel - affiliates. Prior to joining Brotherhood Mutual, he worked in insurance defense litigation.
Steve is a member of the Christian Legal Society, Defense Research Institute, Association of Corporate Counsel, and Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. He attends The Pointe Church in Fort Wayne, where he previously served as the Grow Group director and now serves on the ministry advisory board.
