Anne founded Buchanan Public Relations in 1998, applying a diverse background in strategic communications that included leadership positions in agency, corporate, government and media environments. Her particular strengths are strategy, crisis communications and social media.
Before launching the firm, Anne spent nine years running the Public Relations Department of a large Philadelphia advertising and PR agency. Prior to that, she held communications positions in the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and at Mellon Bank. She also reported for a chain of papers in the Pittsburgh area.
She is active in a number of professional and non-profit organizations. She is a past board member of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, has served as a Trustee of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church and was Vice President of the Philadelphia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). In 2012, Anne received PRSA's Maxine Elkin Award for Distinguished Service, which honors public relations professionals who demonstrate a commitment to the advancement of the profession.
She was one of the founding members of the Public Relations Global Network, a network of more than 50 independent PR firms around the world. She serves as Vice President of the Americas for the organization and also sits on its Executive Committee. She is also active in PRSA and PPRA.
Anne is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A., Journalism).

Corinna Vecsey Wilson leads a public affairs consulting firm in Harrisburg whose clients include leading non-profits and businesses.
Corinna has been a journalist, corporate lawyer, lobbyist, and trade association and not-for-profit executive. Notable among her advocacy achievements was her lead role in passage of the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know law, a landmark government reform bill. She the co-presenter of the Capitol All-Stars softball game that is played by members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly that has raised more than $250,000 to fight hunger in Pennsylvania.

Emily started as an Apprentice with BPR in October after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Communications with a minor in Economics and certificates in Sustainability and Digital Media. Emily worked with local nonprofits on their marketing and communications strategies to help promote their initiatives.
Outside of work, Emily loves international travel, trying coffee shops around Philadelphia, and walks with her Doberman.

Johnny serves as the agency's Director of Media Relations, where he leads the implementation of media relations programs for the firm's clients. He regularly works with top-tier media, including Bloomberg, Business Insider and The Wall Street Journal. Under Johnny's leadership, the firm has won numerous awards for media relations campaigns.

Jon has over thirty years in software development in a variety of industries. His roles at Buchanan involve administering the web site, phone system, SAAS/cloud applications, network security, and laptop support.
Prior to moving to Philadelphia, Jon lived and worked in Southern California. His work included systems for financial institutions, software companies, a maritime freight company, a hospital, a music equipment manufacturer, a golf club manufacturer, and a weight loss company.
When not in the office Jon can be found restoring a 40+ year old sailboat, converting it from diesel to electric propulsion.

Lauren joined Buchanan Public Relations as an Apprentice after graduating from Penn State with bachelor's degrees in marketing and English. During her undergraduate studies, Lauren worked as a summer intern at Comcast on the XCS Communications team.
Outside of work, Lauren loves to watch classic and new films, walk in Valley Forge Park, and learn new songs on the guitar.
Lauren started as an Apprentice with BPR in November 2022 after graduating from Indiana University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Media with dual concentrations in Public Relations and Media Management, Law, and Policy. Before joining BPR, she worked as a PR intern at Rock Paper Scissors, Inc and as a Digital Marketing Consultant for Credit Abuse Resistance Education.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus in Public Relations from Albright College and is certified in Leadership Communication from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Mia Recently joined BPR as an Apprentice after graduating from Temple University with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and a minor in Content Creation. During her college career, she was an Account Associate at PRowl Public Relations before spending a summer as the PR and Marketing Intern for software development company, OfficeAccord, in Barcelona, Spain. She also was on the e-board of Temple's Students Helping Students, a non-profit organization working towards bridging the educational inequality gap in Philadelphia.

Mikayla joined the Buchanan team after graduating from Messiah University with her bachelor's degree in Communications. During her time at school, Mikayla interned with the Office of Annual Giving and worked in both the Office of Admissions and the Office of General Education.
Outside of work, Mikayla enjoys trying new restaurants, biking around Central Pennsylvania, and racing her sisters down the ski slopes.

Originally from Brasov, Romania, Violeta graduated from George Baritiu University of Brasov with a bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking & moved to the USA in 2005.
Her previous employment as an office manager for nine years exposed her to a vast wealth of new knowledge, included HR, AP, AR, Payroll, Health Insurance, and Banking. After joining the BPR team, Violeta's experience blends in well with her key roles in supporting the agency's president and working closely with the agency's partners.
Her leisure time consists of being a full-time dog mom, taking in art exhibits, attending aerial yoga classes, or painting on canvas.
