Prior to coming to Clinton BC (2008). Jim had a career in Telecommunications, holding various management positions, including operations, marketing, finance and customer service. He has worked in both established telecommunication companies and start up Internet Service Providers, giving him, the different prospectives of well established process driven organizations to nimble and fast moving companies. He was first elected to the office of Mayor of Clinton in 2011 and later acclaimed to the office in 2014. His private sector/public sector experience serves him well in his role on the CCBAC Board of Directors.

Mayor Mitch

Mitch has been a resident and business owner in 100 Mile House for 24 years and has served as a Councillor for ten years. Mitch spends as much time as possible with his family and is also involved and supports many aspects of our community. He spent many years on the Board of the 100 Mile House Lions Club and has participated and supported many other charities and organizations in our community. Mitch is a past member of the 100 Mile House Fire Department and past President of the South Cariboo Fire Fighters Association. When on Council, Mitch held the position of Chair for the Public Works Committee for ten years, was a member of the South Cariboo Recreation Commission for six years and Chair for Community Schools for five years.

Mayor Robin Sharpe

Robin was born in New Westminster BC and grew up in North Surrey. He completed his education at Simon Fraser University with a BSc in Biology. To finance his education, he began working for BC Parks in Manning Park and continued with Parks for 14 years, working at Mount Seymour, Cypress Bowl and then back to Manning. In 1986, he moved to the Cariboo to begin a second career at Barkerville Historic Town. Robin enjoyed Wells and Barkerville, the people of the region and the history and remained there the rest of his working career, 26 years. He held positions from supervisor of maintenance and security, through Manager of Visitor Programs and Marketing, and finally became the Regional Director for BC Heritage's Northern Region, and the first CEO for the Barkerville Heritage Trust. Robin retired in 2010 and travelled for a year before being appointed Mayor for the District of Wells in 2011 and again in 2014. Robin currently sit on the boards of the Cariboo Regional District, Cariboo Chilcotin Beatle Action Coalition, and Cariboo-Chilcotin Regional Advisory Committee for the Northern Development Initiative Trust. For twenty-eight years, he has been the Committee Chair for the Wells/Barkerville chapter of Ducks Unlimited Canada and also held many other board positions over the years, including President and Treasurer of the Wells Curling Club, a Director/Treasurer with the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association, The Gold Rush Trail Marketing Board, and the North Cariboo Marketing Strategy among others.
