Allan L. Morrison is a senior counsel with extensive experience in the areas of international commercial litigation/arbitration, international recovery and international business law. Mr. Morrison practices in the Business Litigation and Cross-Border Litigation groups at Cambridge LLP. He represents significant international companies doing business in Canada and investing abroad. Mr. Morrison has negotiated various legal and financial arrangements with governments in the Americas and the Far East.
Along with legal practice, Mr. Morrison has been involved in numerous entrepreneurial ventures. Mr. Morrison is currently the president of COMART International, a company specializing in the delivery of international maritime programs, working together with the government of Canada. He directs a program run under the Canada-Taiwan Memorandum of Understanding on Maritime Technologies in the Far East.
Mr. Morrison's past entrepreneurial ventures include: acting as president and chairman of Access Canada International (which specialized in the representation of international investors investing in Canada); chairman of Emerald Hills Inc (which owned and operated Emerald Hills Golf Club prior to an asset sale); and managing an Ottawa based venture capital fund.
Mr. Morrison is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, a former Crown Attorney in the province of Ontario, a director of several corporations, a trusted international business advisor, and an active community member.

Angela Kwok is a lawyer in the Estates Litigation and Business Litigation Groups at Cambridge LLP. Prior to joining Cambridge, Angela practiced at a reputable law firm in the Peel Region, where she gained experience in various areas of litigation, including estate litigation, commercial disputes, and real estate disputes. Angela has experience appearing before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Small Claims Court.
Prior to being called to the bar, Angela completed her articling term as a judicial law clerk at the Superior Court of Justice, assisting over 36 judges in the Central South Region. Angela is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Toronto.
Originally from Hong Kong, Angela has full proficiency in Cantonese and working proficiency in Mandarin.

H. Scott Fairley is a partner at Cambridge LLP. He holds his B.A. (1974), and LL.B in (1977) degrees from Queens University a LL.M in International Legal Studies from New York University (1979), and a doctorate (S.J.D.) in international and constitutional law from Harvard University (1987). He has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCI Arb.) since 1999.
Scott is a member of the Bar of Ontario. Within the profession, he has been a leader in various organizational capacities: National Section Chair for both constitutional law (1991-93) and international law (l 998-2000) in the Canadian Bar Association, past-president of the Canadian Council on International Law (7992-94), and Co Chair (2006-08) and Senior Advisor (2010- ) to the Canada Committee of the American Bar Association, International Law Section.
Scott has represented numerous government and private entities at all levels of Canadian federal and provincial courts, with extensive experience in the Supreme Court of Canada. He has acted as counsel and given expert evidence in the U.S. Federal Courts; and has served as counsel and as an arbitrator, respectively, in international and domestic arbitrations.

Jon-David Giacomelli was one of the three founding partners of Cambridge LLP and the Chair of the Cross-Border and Business Litigation Groups. His practice has encompassed a wide range of complex cross-border litigation and alternative dispute resolution, with an emphasis on private international law, conflict of laws, jurisdictional disputes, enforcement of foreign orders, shareholders' rights and injunctive relief. Jon-David has represented clients from around the world and is recognized in Canada, the U.S. and abroad as a leading practitioner in the area of cross-border litigation and arbitration.
Mr. Giacomelli has been a frequent speaker and writer on issues related to business litigation, private international law and in particular, cross-border litigation, dispute resolution and conflict of laws. He has spoken and lectured widely at city, provincial, state, national and specialty bar associations in Canada, the United States, South American and Europe.
He is a graduate of McMaster University with a B.A. In Political Science (summa cum laude - 1st in class) and Queen's University LLB. He has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario and in international arbitrations in Canada and the United States.

Jonathan Di Feo is a lawyer in the Estates, Business, and Cross-Border Litigation Groups.
Jonathan regularly advises clients on a variety of tax issues with provincial and federal tax authorities, and he has successfully litigated matters with the Canada Revenue Agency. Jonathan has worked on cases involving all levels of Court in Ontario as well as the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court, and Federal Court of Appeal.
In his estates practice, Jonathan creates estate plans to ensure that his clients meet their financial and family goals, while advising and assisting executors and trustees in their obligations in administering estates.
Prior to joining Cambridge LLP, Jonathan founded DI FEO LAW, a boutique firm practicing in the areas of tax, estates, and corporate law.
Jonathan holds a Licentiate in Law from the University of Ottawa, a Juris Doctor degree from the Université de Sherbrooke, and a Certificate in Chinese Law from the Chinese University of Political Science and Law (Beijing). Joe is a Partner at Cambridge LLP. He manages high-stakes litigation with a focus on the areas of trusts and estates. He acts frequently for beneficiaries, trustees, executors, or fiduciaries appointed as power of attorney. Joe litigates will challenges, trustee removal and guardianship applications, dependant relief claims, fiduciary accounting claims, and more complex disputes involving family businesses and estate freezes.
Joe is an experienced trial lawyer and, in addition to his work in the area of trusts and estates, Joe maintains a broad business litigation practice. Drawing on his entrepreneurial background and sound judgment and decision-making instincts, Joe represents clients in a wide-range of civil proceedings, including corporate oppression, real estate, and defamation claims.

Katie Ludwig is an associate with the Business and Cross Boarder Litigation Groups, as well as with the constitutional advocacy team at Cambridge LLP.
Katie began working at Cambridge LLP as a summer student in 2021. After completing her masters degree, she articled with Cambridge LLP until her call to the bar in 2023. Throughout this time, Katie has been exposed to a wide range of litigation before the Small Claims Court, Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Ontario, Kings Bench of Alberta, Federal court, Landlord Tenant Board, as well as with the Ontario and Canadian Human Rights Tribunals.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary. Her interest in the study of genetics and bioethics pushed her to pursue an LL.B. from City University of London, England. During law school, Katie rose to semi-finalist in the London scholars mooting competition and was the president of the Canadian and American Law Society. Quinn Giordano is a lawyer with the Estates, Business and Cross-Border Litigation Groups at Cambridge LLP.
As a litigator at Cambridge LLP, Quinn has experience appearing on behalf of clients across Ontario on a wide range of commercial and estate matters at the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Small Claims Court.
Quinn graduated with distinction from Queen's University where he completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies. He graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa where he obtained a Juris Doctor and advanced to the final round of the prestigious 2019 Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna.

R. Douglas Elliott is a partner in Cambridge LLP. He received his B.A. from the University of Western Ontario in 1979, his LL.B. from the University of Toronto in 1982, and was called to the Bar in 1984. The Law Society certified him as a Specialist in Civil Litigation in 2003, awarded him the Law Society Medal in 2010, and conferred an honorary Doctor of Laws degree on him in 2021.
His practice encompasses a wide range of complex litigation including estates and trusts litigation, class actions, commercial litigation and constitutional and human rights litigation. He has appeared at levels of court in Canada, including numerous appearances in the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Dr. Elliott is well known for his work on landmark constitutional cases such as same sex marriage and is also a leader in the field of class actions. He has been counsel in class actions involving some of the largest recoveries against the Crown in Canada. Dr. Elliott won what was then the largest Canadian class action trial judgement valued at $50 million in an action brought by a group of gay and lesbian Canadians seeking CPP survivor's pensions against the federal government in Hislop v Canada. He played a key role in the national hepatitis C team that secured a $1.5 billion settlement from the federal and provincial governments in Parsons v Canada, one of the largest settlements in Canadian class action history. He led the legal team in the $145 million dollar class action settlement in the LGBT Purge case, Ross, Roy and Satalic v The Queen. He is lead counsel or co-counsel in a number of current class actions.
He is the resident partner in our northern office in Elliot Lake, where he also offers estate planning, estate administration and mediation services.
Dr. Elliott has lectured around the world to lawyers and at law schools, including at the CBA, IBA, ABA, CLA, Osgoode Hall Law School, the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Harvard, Yale and the University of Niigata in Japan.
He has received numerous awards for his social justice work, including the Diane Martin Medal for Social Justice through Law, the Canadian AIDS Society Leadership Award, The Canadian Bar Association's SOGIC Hero Award, the Ontario Bar Association's Robert Muir Mentoring Award and the inaugural Carl Mitchell Community Impact Award presented by the University of Toronto Alumni Association. The University of Toronto Faculty of Law with the financial support of the LGBT Purge Fund has created the annual R. Douglas Elliott Fellowship in his honour.
Dr. Elliott has been recognized as a leading expert on public law, both class actions and Charter litigation, and consistently as one of the Best Class Action Lawyers in Canada by The Best Lawyers in Canada. He is also listed in Canadian Who's Who.

Rahul represents individuals, businesses and organizations in a wide range of complex disputes, including contractual disagreements, shareholder disputes, property disputes, construction disputes and matters involving professional regulatory misconduct. Through Rahul's work, he has represented clients at trial and argued numerous contested motions, including motions for interim injunctive relief, Mareva (freezing) injunctions and for registration of certificates of pending litigation.
Irrespective of the matter, Rahul is dedicated to providing his clients with tailored legal solutions that are aligned with their specific needs and objectives. Having also articles with the firm before becoming an associate, Ryan is a key member of the Estates and Trusts team. He brings to his clients a wide range of experience and knowledge, advising on multi-jurisdictional estate administration, proactive estate planning to protect against potential litigation, and the interplay of testamentary freedoms and the support of dependants. Tim Phelan is an associate in the firm's Litigation, Estates and Constitutional Advocacy Groups.
Tim is based in our firm's Elliot Lake office, where he practices in estate litigation, commercial disputes, personal injury matters, municipal law, and a variety of other areas to suit the diverse needs of Northern Ontarians. Tim and has appeared before the Superior Court of Ontario, the Divisional Court of Ontario, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. As a Northern Ontarian himself, Tim is passionate about providing quality legal services to fellow Northern Ontarians.
Tim attended Queen's University, earning a BA (Honours) in Political Science and History in 2017. From there, Tim attended the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law where he graduated cum laude with a focus in public law in 2020. While a student at the University of Ottawa, Tim was a member of the inaugural executive of the faculty's chapter of Elephant in the Room, a national campaign to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and promote mental health in the legal profession.
