Job Titles:

Alisa joined Caltius Structured Capital in 2000 when the firm was investing its second fund. She leverages decades of portfolio management and underwriting experience across a broad range of industry sectors to originate junior capital investment opportunities, manage portfolio companies and fundraise.
Previously, Alisa was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Fleet Capital Corporation where she served on the Fleet Capital Credit Committee and managed a portfolio exceeding $500 million. She began her career at Chemical Bank as an underwriter.
Alisa received her B.A., cum laude, from Wellesley College. She is a mentor for students at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder, and an active volunteer with the Boulder County Community Food Share.
Bruce manages limited partner and public relations for Caltius Capital Management and its funds. He supports the Controller and CFO in the daily financial operations of the firm. Bruce joined Caltius in 2015.
Bruce received his B.S. in Business Administration, Finance from the University of Southern California where he was a member of the tennis team, and he received his certificate in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles.

David screens prospective investment opportunities, assists with due diligence for new transactions and monitors portfolio companies in close coordination with senior team members. He joined Caltius Structured Capital in 2023 from PNC Business Credit, where he managed, underwrote, and originated asset-based and leveraged cash flow loans to middle-market businesses, financing acquisitions, growth, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations.
David received his B.A. with Honors in Economics and Business Administration from Whittier College and is a CFA charterholder.

Don pre-screens and underwrites transactions, performs research and analysis and conducts portfolio monitoring and review. He joined Caltius in 2000 after beginning his career as an investment banker in New York.
Previously, Don was a Financial Analyst in the Acquisition Finance Group at Salomon Smith Barney, where he supported deal teams in underwriting leveraged loans and high yield bonds for private equity-related transactions. Don received his B.A., cum laude, in Economics from Harvard University.

Donna manages marketing and operations for Caltius Capital Management and its funds. Donna joined Caltius Capital Management as Executive Assistant in 2003. She left in 2007 to return to her native South Africa, then returned in 2010.
Previously, Donna provided administrative support and office coordination for firms in England and South Africa, including Dorchester Capital Advisors, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and National Geographic. Donna received her Associate's Degree, Fine Arts, Web Design and New Media, from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Eric oversees all aspects of financial operations, accounting and financial reporting, taxes, investor relations, information technology and human resources for Caltius Capital Management and its funds.
Prior to joining Caltius in 2020, Eric was Caltius' advisor for 19 years as a Tax Partner at EY and Tax Senior Manager at Deloitte. His experience spans the private equity fund life cycle, from fund formation and capitalization to portfolio company acquisitions, mergers, restructurings and dispositions, tax planning and compliance, and fund liquidation. Eric is well-versed in reviewing complex partnership agreements and interpreting and applying investor allocation, distribution and liquidation provisions.
Eric received his Master's Degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California and his B.A., summa cum laude, in History with a minor in Accounting from the University of California at Los Angeles. He is a Certified Public Accountant and active supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the American Heart Association.
Garrick co-founded Caltius Equity in 1999. He leverages his financial and operational consulting experiences to assist lower middle-market companies with the design, financing and execution of strategic growth plans. Garrick is involved in developing the firm's investment strategy as a member of the investment committee, and in the sourcing, execution and management of investments.
Previously, Garrick held positions in private equity at Bastion Capital, management consulting at McKinsey & Company and investment banking at Morgan Stanley & Co. He received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his M.S and B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

Gavin actively originates, structures and negotiates new investment opportunities and maintains client relationships. He is a key contributor to the firm's growth initiatives, including fundraising, marketing and business development. Gavin joined Caltius Structured Capital in 2008.
Previously, Gavin was a Director at CapitalSource, responsible for sourcing and underwriting cash flow-based senior and subordinated debt transactions for equity sponsors. Prior to CapitalSource, he worked for London, England-based private equity funds Compass Partners and Permira, where he originated, executed and managed private equity investments. Gavin started his career with HSBC Investment Bank. He received his M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and his B.A. with Honors from the University of Nottingham.

Greg joined Caltius Structured Capital at its inception in 1997, bringing deep investment underwriting and portfolio management expertise. He manages all aspects of the business, including deal origination, underwriting, negotiations, portfolio management, fundraising and strategic planning.
Previously, Greg was a Senior Credit Officer at FINOVA Capital responsible for pre-screening prospective transactions for FINOVA's Corporate Finance Group. He spent eight years at Heller Financial underwriting cash flow senior and subordinated debt transactions for California-based equity sponsors. Greg received his B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
Jeffrey applies decades of C-suite experience to collaborate with our portfolio company management teams in the areas of operational strategy design and execution. He also sources new investment opportunities. Jeffrey joined Caltius Equity in 2008 after serving as CEO & President of Northwest Coatings, one of Caltius' first portfolio companies. He resides in Chicago.
Previously, Jeffrey was an advisor to the private equity fund Charlesbank Capital Partners and served as president of the Alper Ink Group, a manufacturer of specialty chemicals. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at Arthur Andersen. Jeffrey received his B.S. in Business from Eastern Illinois University.
Jim co-founded Caltius Capital Management in 1997. As President and CEO, Jim is involved in all aspects of fund management, fundraising and deal origination for Caltius Equity Partners and Caltius Structured Capital. His wide-ranging experience spans private debt and equity investing, sales and trading of public debt securities, portfolio management and accounting.
Prior to founding Caltius, Jim was President of U.S. Bancorp Libra and its predecessor, Libra Investments, an investment banking firm focused on the sale, trading and placement of debt securities. Jim began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at KPMG. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Northern Arizona University.

Kate screens prospective investment opportunities, assists with due diligence for new transactions and monitors portfolio companies in close coordination with senior team members. She joined Caltius Structured Capital in 2019 from PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP where she was a senior associate in the Deals Advisory group. At PwC, Kate advised a wide range of clients on strategic growth alternatives including operational improvements, public offerings, acquisitions, and carve-outs.
Kate received her Master of Accounting (MAcc) and B.S. in International Relations Global Business, Business Finance minor from the University of Southern California.

Kevin focuses on transaction sourcing, evaluating investments, and building relationships with intermediaries, lenders, and other investors.
Kevin joined Caltius Structured Capital in 2022 from Onex Falcon and its predecessor, Falcon Investments, where he sourced debt and equity investments for the firm. Prior to Falcon, he worked at JMC Capital, a buyout firm focused on the industrial technology sector and North Atlantic Capital, an investor in growth-oriented technology companies.
Kevin received his B.A. from Williams College and resides in the Boston area.
Melissa primarily is responsible for accounting, human resources and investor relations for Caltius Capital Management and its funds. She joined Caltius in 2002.
Previously, Melissa worked in accounting for a multinational advertising agency. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in Mathematics and Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu, and her Award in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Michael co-founded Caltius Structured Capital in 1997 to provide junior capital to the underserved lower middle market. He is instrumental to the fund's success, from fundraising to deal origination, portfolio management and strategic planning.
Previously, Michael managed Building and Construction Capital Partners, L.P., a private equity fund focused on the building and construction industries, as a Managing Director at Richard C. Blum and Associates. He spent six years with the Industrial Finance Division of General Electric Capital Corporation where he originated and underwrote loans to companies across multiple sectors. Michael began his career with Metropolitan Life Insurance in its private placements group.
Michael received his M.B.A., Masters in Accounting and B.A. in Economics from Rice University and is a CFA charterholder.
Michael co-founded Caltius Equity in 1999. He is instrumental in the overall success of the firm, from fundraising to sourcing, executing and managing investments.
Previously, Michael was with Salomon Smith Barney in its Financial Sponsor Coverage Group, Kline Hawkes & Co., and the predecessor to CIVC Partners. He received his M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he was a Venture Fellow, and his B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Paul supports all aspects of portfolio company management and screens prospective investments. He joined Caltius Equity in November 2021 from Ernst & Young LLP where he was a senior associate in the Strategy and Transactions Group.
While at Ernst & Young LLP, Paul performed financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients on merger and acquisition transactions. Paul received his B.S. in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University.

Rick evaluates investment opportunities, structures transactions and advises portfolio company management teams. His well-rounded experience spans junior capital investing, private equity and investment banking. Rick joined Caltius Structured Capital in 2004 after earning his M.B.A. Prior to attending business school, he was an Associate at Caltius Equity Partners from 1999 to 2002.
Previously, Rick was a Financial Analyst in the Construction and Forest Products Group at Dillon, Read & Company/UBS, where he worked on several publicly and privately negotiated M&A and public financing transactions. He also worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Rick received his M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and his B.A. from Columbia University.
Ryan supports all aspects of portfolio company management and screens prospective investments. He joined Caltius Equity in July 2016 from Harris Williams & Co. where he was an analyst in its Consumer Group.
While at Harris Williams & Co., Ryan worked on mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory assignments in consumer segments including food & beverage, consumer products, restaurants and retail. Ryan received his B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
