Prior to joining Capella Systems in its early years, David worked as a sales engineer for Rhozet Corporation (acquired by Harmonic, Inc.) and led its technical support team. He has years of experience in technical support, systems integration and product development. He believes his success in the company is ultimately measured by his customer's success. He is the liaison to and advocate for his customers in helping shape Capella's next-generation transcoding and live encoding products.

Ikuyo Yamada has been in the software industry and startup environment for over a decade. She was an original member of Rhozet Corporation (acquired by Harmonic, Inc. in 2007), a Silicon Valley startup that developed universal transcoding software. She developed and oversaw Rhozet's international market, while working closely with the engineering team to incorporate customers' needs into the product line. She founded Capella Systems in 2009 to develop next-generation software products that advance the latest video technologies.

Martin has led Capella's engineering department since its inception, helping to design and develop its current array of products. Previously, he spent a decade working on video compression technologies at Canopus, Rhozet and Harmonic, Inc. Historically, Martin has always worked closely with Support and Sales, and he uses that experience to design software that's powerful and flexible but also easy to use, troubleshoot and expand.
