Christian Werner was born in 1964, and is the General Sales Director of Hebenstreit GmbH in Germany. He started his career at Hebenstreit in the early 80' as an electronic apprentice and since then he has remained in the wafer & snack business After his apprenticeship he traveled around the world for several years as an electronic service engineer. Following this he gained further experience as a project coordinator before moving into the sales department as an Area Sales Manager. In 2003 he became the General Sales Director.

Olaf Piepenbrock, born in 1968, is Chairman and CEO of the Piepenbrock Group. He graduated in business administration with the academic degree "Diplom-Kaufmann" at the University Mannheim in 1996. Since 1997 he is in the confectionary machinery industry when he took over the responsibility for Loeschpack and Hastamat as managing director. The Piepenbrock Group was founded 1913 and is family owned and managed in the 4th generation. The Piepenbrock Group is divided in different fields of activities. With more than 800 sites, 63 subsidiaries and over 27.000 employees, the Piepenbrock Service Group is the market leading company in Germany in the fields of infrastructural and technical facility services, industrial maintenance and security services. The Industrial Group's main focus lies on building highly innovative packaging machines for the confectionary industry. Packaging manufacturers Loesch and Hastamat belong to it. Besides being a member of the European Candy Kettle Club, Olaf is member of the VDMA board, a member of the interpack board, member of the chamber of commerce Osnabrueck-Emsland (IHK Osnabrück-Emsland-Grafschaft Bentheim), president of the entrepreneurs association Osnabrueck-Emsland (IAV Osnabrück-Emsland), vice-president of the entrepreneurs Lower Saxony ( UVN Unternehmerverbände Niedersachsen e.V.) as well as member of the board Deutsche Demenzhilfe.
