Camp Hertko Hollow is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and teens living with type 1 diabetes. We provide an educational, therapeutic, and recreational camping experience designed to empower children and teens with the knowledge and skills they need to manage their diabetes while building confidence, independence, and lasting friendships... Camp Hertko Hollow is a not-for-profit entity with 501(c)(3) status and is not directly affiliated with any national diabetes organizations. Camp Hertko Hollow is a member of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association (DECA) and is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA).
