Alan is a Sith. He has a fondness for the dark side of the force, and is busy plotting the downfall of the Jedi order.
Alan moved to Canada from the UK's tech industry. He's a self-taught developer, and personally learned all he knows - which is a lot, considering his 25 years of experience in the industry. Now Alan brings his talents to Caorda, where he builds and fixes web applications, sites, and anything else we throw at him.

Dave got his start creating stop-motion films using his Star Wars action figures in Grade 2. "Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Giant Ski Boot" was the name of his first masterpiece. Since then, Dave has been creating promotional videos for Victoria businesses large and small.
Dean moved to Victoria to be with his wife to start a new chapter in his life. Dean graduated with a degree in IT. He enrolled in a web development program to learn about the basics, self-taught what he can and gained knowledge from various companies.
Eric has always been interested in technologies and web design. He eventually decided to shift careers, take the plunge, and learn how it worked. His background working with people and now web development has sparked a passion to create helpful technologies.
Gayathri graduated with a degree in Communication Design from India, after which she worked in India for four years. In 2021 she moved to Canada to pursue a graduate degree in the Interactive Media Management program at Sheridan College. In 2022 she moved to Victoria and joined the Caorda team.
After graduating with a degree in Graphic and Media Design, Hilary left Victoria BC in 2009 for the mainland to pursue her career in Graphic and Website design. After working and learning with two large agencies in Vancouver, Hilary decided to pursue and complete courses in Art Direction at Langara College to round out her skills. Missing the island, Hilary joined Caorda in 2013 back in Victoria and brought her experience and knowledge of design to the Caorda office.

A proud father of one, Jade is a WestCoaster through and through; born in Vancouver and raised in Victoria. Jade cut his teeth in the Internet Technology industry in the 90's on the front lines of dial-up internet support. This position taught extreme patience, communication, and mediation skills.
Shortly thereafter, he was introduced to the world of Massive Online Multiplayer Role Playing Games and vanished from society. After slaying the Dragon and vanquishing the Orcish Hordes, Jade returned to normal life and quickly gathered extensive experience in Search Engine Optimization, Google Adwords management, Conversion Optimization, Inbound Marketing, Email Marketing and Content Development.

Born and raised in Victoria, BC, Jason studied marketing at Camosun College before leaving for Vancouver to work as an in-house marketer at a boutique management consulting firm. Now at Caorda, Jason is part of the digital marketing team working on ads, SEO, and content creation projects.

Coming from a military family, Kendra has spent time living in Ontario, Nova Scotia, Ontario again, and finally beautiful Victoria BC. Introduced to the tech scene at an early age, she still has fond memories of the shriek of dot matrix printers and dial-up modems (don't ask us why).
Alongside her well-travelled background, Kendra also has experience in a variety of disciplines, including the humanities, animation, computer science, and of course marketing. She enjoys drawing on these diverse fields to create promotional campaigns that are inventive, insightful, and on the leading edge of technology.
Lance has almost 20 years of experience building highly functional web applications using technologies such as C#, VB .NET, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, ASP .NET, SQL Server and IIS. Recently, he's spent a lot of time building mobile applications for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. Previous to starting Caorda with Paul, Lance worked as the primary web developer at Coast Capital Savings from 1997 to 2004.
Lara has many years of experience in management and leadership, most recently directing ecommerce operations for a major Canadian clothing retailer. Originally from the west coast, Lara has followed her career path across Canada from Ontario to Alberta, and is ecstatic to return to her roots on Vancouver Island.
Lewis is a goat. He is peace-loving, helpful, and trusting. But also resistant to change.
Raised in Victoria, BC, Lewis' interest in technology stems back from his childhood trying to get video games to run on his old family computer. Lewis is primarily a self-taught developer with around 10 years experience working for companies in Vancouver and Victoria.
Lorne is a Rat. Born under the sign of charm and aggressiveness, he is expressive and talkative, not to mention quick-witted. Oh, and did we mention he is talkative?
Lorne has over 20 years of marketing, management and sales experience with technology products and software companies. In 2005, Lorne received his MBA, graduating on the Dean's List from the University of Victoria. Lorne has been with Caorda since 2007 leading 100s of successful website, software and marketing projects.
Mark is a Rooster. He is therefore very observant, accurate, and precise. Other traits: hardworking, resourceful, and courageous.
Mark is an expert in design, architecture, and implementation, specializing in Software Development and Project Management. He has an extensive background with specialized software applications in the healthcare field. He has given several conference presentations on his work, including the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research Tandem Meetings 2006, in Honolulu.
Max moved to Victoria when he was 9, and has lived here ever since. He completed his Computer Science degree at the University of Victoria. He works primarily in Visual Basic and C#, but is also fluent in Java, C,
Paul has a strong business and technical background, gained from years of work in the Credit Union system. He holds an MBA from Royal Roads University and received the Governor General's award for his thesis. At Caorda, Paul focuses on business development, project management, and working directly with both existing and future clients.
Rauvy is a Rooster. He is hard-working, and definite about his decisions. Not afraid to speak his mind, he is also very observant and likes to crow in the morning.
Holding a Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University, Rauvy worked for more than 12 years at Coast Capital Savings Credit Union in both a branch and systems environment before joining Caorda. His roles at the credit union varied from

Robert is a Microsoft Certified System Administrator and Technical specialist. Robert has been working in the IT field since graduating at Algonquin College in 2004. Throughout this time, he helped design, build and manage network infrastructures and system administration from small to large environments.
Ryan brings years of sales and management experience across the private, public and non-profit sectors and is passionate about helping clients grow their business. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Royal Roads University and prior to joining Caorda was an entrepreneur in the craft beer industry. In 2021, Ryan returned home to the island and Victoria after spending the last 15 years in Vancouver.

Trish has been hosting international students for over 10 years and has had more than 50 students from all over the world live with her and her family. She was also an exchange student herself many years ago, living in Germany!
Trish was raised in Victoria and has a diverse work background, ranging from operations and member services at a non-profit to managing a small toy store chain, to project management of software implementations, among others! She has an MBA in Services Management from the University of Victoria. Her varied experience helps her relate to a wide variety of customer needs and to hone in on business requirements.
