Cardea is a national women of color-led organization. From the moment we connect, we seek to understand how you dream the world might be... Cardea began in 1971 as James Bowman Associates. At that time, we were a small team, based in San Francisco, working on an Office of Population Affairs-funded Regional Training Center for Family Planning.
