Cardinal Steel Supply was founded by Aaron and Harvey Fenster in 1976 as a small St Louis metal fabrication shop. It began as a single-shift operation with approximately 500 tons of inventory and a 15,000-square-foot warehouse, selling to ornamental iron shops and welding and machine shops... Cardinal Steel, born in St. Louis and having served the area for almost 50 years, combines substantial inventory with exceptional customer service. Cardinal operates on 10 acres with 150,000 square feet under crane, allowing rapid access to 5,000 tons of steel on site. We deliver using our own fleet of multiple flatbed trucks and multiple tractor-trailers, providing flexibility to deliver a single bar or an entire truckload to your facility or job site - often as quickly as the next day.
