Denis is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland, and held the position of Director within Nolan Ryan Tweeds, part of the WYG group of businesses prior to establishing Carron + Walsh in 2010. Paul Marren

Qualifications BEng (Hons) in Civil & Transportation Engineering Paul joined Carron + Walsh in 2023 having acquired over 14 years' construction industry experience in Australia, Spain, and Ireland. During his 6 years in Australia, Paul held leadership roles in both main contracting and client-side organisations, delivering projects in civil infrastructure, mining, and healthcare. Upon his return to Ireland in 2016 Paul joined one of Irelands leading Tier 1 main contractors where he delivered a variety of large-scale healthcare, residential, educational, and pharmaceutical projects in both Ireland and Spain. Paul has gained knowledge of contract management, design development, risk management, programme and process management, and on-site construction delivery. He has a keen interest in buildability assessment, value engineering, lean construction, logistics planning and modular construction methods. Paul has also gained experience in managing and developing large teams, particularly useful for large fast track projects with an extended team where team management and communication are essential. Paul recognises that Project Management is above all about communicating with and managing people. Paul is proficient in the use of scheduling software including ASTA Powerproject and Microsoft Project and is also experienced in the use of Navisworks and Autodesk AutoCAD. Projects have covered manufacturing facilities, tourism and leisure facilities, campus projects, education facilities, as well as sensitive conservation commissions. Philip spent part of his early career working in the insurance loss adjustment industry and also in Quantity Surveying roles for both main contractors and consultancy practices, giving him diverse experience and perspective.

Having graduated from University College Dublin Vera worked as an Underwriter with AIB Finance & Leasing, she subsequently joined PricewaterhouseCoopers where she undertook studies with the Institute of Taxation of Ireland, and continued working as Tax practitioner in the industry until joining Carron + Walsh. Vera joined Carron + Walsh in 2016 in the role of Project Administrator. She brings to this role just under 20 years' experience in the area of accountancy, taxation and administration.
