Alexander P. Pinegar is a partner in the firm's Litigation, School Law, and Appellate sections. Alex's practice includes a variety of litigated matters, and he advises both plaintiff and defendant clients in personal injury and car accident cases, business disputes, insurance defense, and appeals. Alex's clients include businesses, individuals, and public school corporations. As part of his litigation practice, Alex has first-chair trial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in both Indiana's state and federal courts. He has represented clients on appeal in the Indiana Court of Appeals, Indiana Supreme Court, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Alex also represented the State of Indiana in a multi-year, nationwide arbitration arising under the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement. Alex serves as general counsel for Sheridan Community Schools and assists with the firm's general counsel representation of numerous public school corporations throughout Indiana. Also currently Alex serves as CCHA's managing partner.
Alex resides in Noblesville. When away from the office, Alex serves as a ruling elder on the Session of Grace Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. Alex has previously served as a board member of Janus Developmental Services, Inc., a local non-profit organization that provides adults with disabilities the opportunity to participate and contribute within the local community; as president and board member of Noblesville Main Street; and as a board member of the Sheridan Chamber of Commerce. His greatest joy is spending time with his wife Laura and their four children. His hobbies include reading, exercise, playing sports and games with family, and practicing the piano.

Ben was born and raised on a farm in Tipton County, where he resides today. He has practiced law in Tipton County and surrounding communities since graduation from law school and admission to the Indiana bar in 1972. Ben's practice is currently focused on estate and business planning and trust and estate administration. He has assisted his clients in developing, implementing and administering complex estate and business plans. With his agricultural background, Ben serves as counsel to numerous farm clients.
During his 42 years of practice, Ben has served the community in many capacities, including Tipton County Attorney from 1973-1990, Board Attorney to the Tipton County Drainage Board from 1973-2009; Attorney to the Big Cicero Creek Joint Drainage Board from 1995-2009; and Attorney for the Tipton County Office of Family and Children from 1972-1993. Ben is one of the founding members of the Tipton County Foundation (past President and Secretary) and currently serves on the Foundation's Board of Directors.
Ben serves on the IU Health-Tipton Hospital Board of Directors and has previously served as its Board Chair. In addition to his service to the Tipton Community, Ben serves as a Deacon of Hobbs Christian Church and he is a member of the Ball State University Foundation Philanthropy Advisory Committee. Ben has been a speaker at continuing legal education seminars.
In addition to the practice of law, Ben maintains an interest in the family farm and purebred beef cattle operation. When not serving his community and clients, Ben enjoys reading and spending time with his wife, Becky, and his children and grandchildren. He enjoys attending cattle shows and is an avid golfer.

Amy devotes a significant portion of her practice to assisting schools, colleges and universities navigate an increasingly complex legal environment in order to promote their institutional goals, while ensuring compliance and mitigating exposure. Amy advises on a variety of legal matters including student disability issues, employment matters and labor negotiations, public access laws, FERPA and other records requirements, policy review, Title IX and other civil rights laws, and student discipline.
Amy's practice also includes assisting public and private employers with all phases of the employment relationship from hiring, to advising on employee medical and leave issues and conducting workplace investigations, to defending unemployment claims.
In addition to providing training and day-to-day client counseling, Amy defends educational institutions and employers in federal and state court proceedings and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights (OCR), and other administrative agencies.
