We trace our origins from the Newmarket law firm founded in 1929 by Charlie Craig who became a well-known figure in the development of the Newmarket business community and was a Newmarket Borough Councilor for a number of years. Charlie was the only solicitor in Newmarket for more than 20 years until his nephew Ross Craig joined him from Dunedin in 1954. David Griffin and Chris Lord each joined the partnership in the 1980s. Ross retired as a partner in 1996 but continued to be associated with the Firm as a Consultant until his death in May 2014. Louise Waugh most recently joined the partnership in 2013. Chris Lord became a Consultant in 2019, before retiring from practice in 2021...
