CERAMICA DE MONSANTO

"Ceramica de Monsanto" was founded in 1952 in Lisbon and is inserted in the Monsanto's Nature Park, where it derives its name. Initially part of a noble prison rehabilitation project, for various reasons and after a few years it becomes a School of Painting, supporting young people who came from Africa. It is now responsible for the training of more than 70% of painters under 40, who are in the Factories of Ceramic Tiles in the South of the country. It is an important milestone in the maintenance of this secular art of hand painting tiles where Portugal is a recognized world's player. Currently holds an advanced know-how, being recognized by the authorities as the best factory painting in industrial base tiles. In its product range has more than 2,000 decorations, which highlight the 600 shades of your color palette.
