CHART TEEN TASK FORCE

The CHART Teen Task Force is a non-profit corporation. We are guided by a five-person Board of Directors comprised of members from several counties. Funding for all of our community prevention work comes in the form of grants and/or donations. Our funding provides us the opportunity to offer free programs and educational events at no cost to participants or schools. We value working with community agencies and individuals. Over the years, we have partnered with multiple groups including the Hannibal Clinic, Clarity Healthcare, United Way of the Mark Twain Area, County Health Departments, the Northeast Missouri County Medical Society, school counselors, teachers, teens, and parents... In 1995 nearly all of the counties exceeded the national average. Our original goal was to decrease the number of unintended teen births by 1/3 from 1995 to 2005.
