Following his military service, Chomko pursued higher education, starting at Lackawanna College where he graduated cum laude in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration. During his time there, he was instrumental in the re-organization of the Veterans Club and was recognized for his academic excellence as a member of Phi Theta Kappa. He continued his educational journey at Northampton Community College, where he earned a degree in Mortuary Science in 2017. Chomko's commitment to community and veterans' affairs is evident in his active participation in various organizations. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and serves as the Commander/President of the American Ukrainian Veterans Association of Lackawanna County. Post-military service, Chomko pursued academic excellence, graduating from the Pennsylvania State University, where he also served as the Vice President of the Veterans Club. Furthering his education, he graduated from the prestigious Simmons School of Mortuary Science. Chomko's commitment to his profession is evident in his attendance at the Jefferson School of Medicine, where he engaged in seminars covering a range of specialized topics such as Eye Nucleation, Organ Donation, and Pathological Science.
