Founded in 1953, CJC Architects, Inc. has operated continuously in Tulsa as a full-service, client oriented firm. The original founders, Joseph Coleman, FAIA, and Bruce Ervin, AIA founded the firm Coleman Ervin and Associates and eventually located their offices at their newly renovated Old City Hall building in downtown Tulsa. Joined by Larry Johnston, AIA and renamed Coleman, Ervin, Johnston, Inc., the firm worked on several notable projects in Tulsa including the renovation of the original Central High School into the AEP-PSO Tulsa office headquarters. The firm managed by Coleman, Johnston, and Maurice Clyma, AIA eventually became known as CJC Architects, Inc. and continued to earn a reputation for the design of quality and high performing projects throughout the Tulsa Metropolitan Area and the State of Oklahoma.
