CIGRE is the largest international association of experts dealing with issues relating to generation, transmission and distribution of electricity at extra high, high and medium voltages. The Association was founded in 1921, Poland was among the founder members. Currently CIGRE has 1096 collective members (companies and universities ) and 7 358 individual members from 92 countries.
