Clarence Thing Chock Ching was born on June 2, 1912 in Anahola, a scenic plantation village on the North Shore of Kauai. Clarence enrolled at Saint Louis School, a private Catholic Marianist school founded in 1846. He excelled both in and out of the classroom.
