Dr. Ashley Norwood-Strickland

Ashley Norwood-Strickland has been with Clinical Psychologists, P.C. since September 2017. She is a self-proclaimed football fanatic and band nerd. She was a part of the Auburn University Marching Band during college and went on to become Drum Major in the 2005-2006 season and again for the 2006-2007 season when she was the first female Head Drum Major in the band's history. Although she loves music, psychology was her passion and she graduated from Auburn with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Music in 2007. Ashley completed a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Mississippi State University in 2011, completing clinical placements on substance abuse and serious mental illness inpatient services. She returned to Auburn to complete her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Auburn University in 2017. While earning her PhD, Ashley completed clinical placements in her focus areas at the Auburn University Psychological Services Center, Mt. Meigs ABSOP Program (treatment and assessment), and the Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHCS). Coming from a long line of decorated war veterans, Ashley considers it a privilege to have concluded her clinical training at an APA approved internship at CAVHCS. Here she completed rotations in Primary Care/Health Psychology, Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, Chronic Pain/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Psychology, and Military Sexual Trauma. Ashley also received a post-doctoral Master's in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2021 and is currently working towards prescription rights in Iowa, where she is also licensed to practice. She is also a part of the PSYPACT interstate compact, allowing her to provide telehealth services across state lines to clients in 31 states. She is currently accepting clients on a limited basis and sees school-aged children, adolescents, college students, and adults. Ashley specializes in providing evidence-based treatments for trauma (including PTSD, childhood abuse, and sexual assault), anxiety, attachment disorders, mood disorders, chronic pain, and personality disorders. Additionally, she provides a variety of assessment services including immigration hardship evaluations, psychosocial evaluations for adoptive parents, and psychoeducational assessments for ADHD and learning disorders. Ashley maintains a part-time clinical caseload with clients at CPPC and provides primarily telehealth services, as she returns to Auburn once a month.

Dr. Crystal Kelley

Crystal Kelley has enjoyed her work in Clinical Psychology since receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 1973 and interning at the University of Minnesota. She would make the same career choice if she had it all to do over again. Crystal derives a great deal of satisfaction and challenge from helping others solve emotional, relationship, behavioral, and interactional problems. Crystal completed both child and adult training in graduate school and works with a broad range of clients of all age ranges. Crystal particularly enjoys working with children and adolescents and finds them to be a perpetual source of enthusiasm and imagination. Interacting with children through games and toys, art and crafts, and creative play and imagery are among her most favorite methods for relating to her young clients; utilizing cognitive behavior therapy, family and parent therapy, and relational approached to treatment. Crystal also provides clinical services to college students and adults experiencing bereavement and loss, previous abuse, anxiety and depression. Crystal works with parents and families in addressing an array of complex issues which families face quite often in today's world. These include bereavement and loss, divorce, remarriage and blended families, sibling rivalry, adolescent depression and acting out, and young adult identity and emancipation. Crystal has been involved in professional issues throughout her career and has enjoyed teaching and clinical training of graduate students. She has also been active in professional organizations on a local, state, and national level in addressing credentialing ethics and standards, and educating the public about psychology.

Dr. Jessica V. Stokes

Jessica joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. in June 2014 as a part-time psychologist focused on conducting psychological assessments for adults. She transitioned to full-time at the practice in 2020, and is currently providing therapy and assessments for college students and adults. Jessica was born in Nashville, TN, and raised in Birmingham, AL. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi and her internship at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System. She worked as a psychologist at the VA Medical Center from 2012-2020, providing individual and group psychotherapy, as well as conducting psychological assessment and couples therapy. She has also worked in community mental health, inpatient psychiatric units, and a college counseling center. Currently, she assists individuals with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and loss. She also provides psychological assessments for individuals undergoing bariatric surgery or spinal cord stimulators. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, as well as their dogs. Her hobbies include traveling, watching Auburn sports, and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Kellie Pope

Kellie joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. in June 2018 as a psychologist focused on providing therapy and assessments for college students and adults. She was born in Montgomery, AL and grew up just outside of the Auburn area. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Memphis, an internship at the Boston Consortium in Clinical Psychology, and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institution for Rehabilitation. She has been practicing as a licensed psychologist since 2007 and spent the bulk of her career working as a psychologist within the Veteran's Healthcare System, where she developed psychological services within medical settings and then later served as the director of behavioral health within a primary care setting. Currently, she assists individuals with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, relational difficulties, women's health concerns, and bereavement challenges. She also specializes in promoting positive lifestyle change to assist with the management of medical conditions including diabetes, chronic pain, hypertension, and cancer.

Dr. Lindsey Davis

Lindsey Davis joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. in September 2019 as a part-time psychologist focused on providing individual therapy for college students and adults. Lindsey was born in Auburn, AL, and raised between Auburn and Florence, AL. She earned her Master's degree in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Jackson State University. Her predoctoral internship was completed at Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System where she received training on the Military Sexual Trauma, Behavioral Pain Management and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Clinical Team rotations. She worked as a psychologist within the VA from 2012-2022, starting in Savannah, GA, prior to returning to Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System where she served as the Military Sexual Trauma Coordinator. In that role, Lindsey provided individual and group psychotherapy for survivors of sexual trauma. She has also worked in community mental health, inpatient psychiatric units, and a college counseling center. Lindsey joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. full-time in 2022. Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her children, family and friends. Her hobbies include traveling, watching Auburn sports, cooking and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Sara Sutton

Sara Sutton grew up in Los Angeles, California, where she enjoyed the diverse population, food, and cultures. She earned her bachelor's degree in linguistics from University of California at Los Angeles and pursued her doctorate in psychology through the University of Rochester, in Rochester, New York, where she did much of her work in primary prevention. During her internship year in Topeka, Kansas, Sara received extensive training in working with adolescents and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Following her graduation from Rochester, Sara moved to Newport News, Virginia, and after completing her residency at the Peninsula Child Development Clinic, she established and ran an independent private practice for 12 years. Sara and her family moved to Auburn in 2009, when she joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. She currently provides psychotherapy to older adolescents and adults as well as to couples, with a wide range of concerns, challenges, and diagnoses. She has found her work to be extremely gratifying and has been deeply impressed by her patients' strength and resilience in the face of adversity. Sara is mindful of individual and cultural differences and believes that mutual trust and respect and a sense of humor are essential ingredients of a healing relationship.

Dr. Zofia A. Wilamowska

Zofia Wilamowska is a licensed clinical psychologist who joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. in January 2014. She was born in Warsaw, Poland and her family immigrated to the United States when she was nine years old. Zofia grew up in Laramie, Wyoming where she developed a love for outdoor sports like skiing, kayaking, and hiking. Zofia earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Auburn University, and she completed her internship at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System in 2011. She earned her B.A. in psychology from the University of Wyoming in 2003. Zofia specializes in providing evidence based treatments for trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, anger, and stress-related issues. She works with all adult populations (including college students). In addition to providing individual therapy services, Zofia also conducts psychoeducational assessments of individuals who may be struggling with a learning disability or ADHD. When not working, Zofia enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite activities include gardening, reading, and playing with her dog.

Raven Livingston

Raven Livingston is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She grew up in Harris County, Georgia, spent four years in Athens at the University of Georgia, and moved to Auburn in 2011 for graduate school. Raven enjoys running, baking, and entertaining friends and family when not at work. Raven completed a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Auburn University in 2014. Since graduation, she has worked in private practice, advocacy centers, community mental health, as well as an intensive residential treatment unit. Raven is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and works with Auburn University to facilitate a Multi-Family Group Intervention. Raven is a doctoral candidate in Auburn University's Human Development and Family Science department. Her research is focused on how experiences of abuse and neglect are related to later functioning, and the development of evidence based treatments for complex trauma. Raven approaches both research and clinical work from a systemic perspective, and therefore has a passion for working to support and develop healthy marriages and families. Raven sincerely desires for her education and experience to make a contribution to our community, and is excited to provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

Susan N. Bourg

Susan N. Bourg has been working for Clinical Psychologists, P.C. since 1996, first as a graduate clinician, then as a psych tech, and now as a Clinical Psychologist. Susan provides psychological diagnoses and psychotherapy for college students and adults.

Tiffany Lonis-Shumate

Tiffany joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. in May of 2021 as a Marriage and Family Therapist. She enjoys working with teenagers, college students, and adults and provides individual, couples, or family therapy. Tiffany was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. She earned her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University in 2005 and moved to Auburn shortly after. Prior to joining Clinical Psychologists, P.C., Tiffany worked for several years with incarcerated teens as well as owned a private practice in Auburn. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, she takes a systemic approach to issues experienced by clients and strives to help people understand how the systems they are a part of impact their emotions, behaviors, and lives. She takes a holistic approach, incorporating mindfulness, self-care, emotion-focused therapy, and practical strategies to improve quality of life and relationships. She believes in the importance of being intentional in relationships with others as well as in relationship with oneself. Tiffany has experienced in her own life that many things in life are not in our control and can be difficult to cope with and navigate. She feels privileged to walk with other people through their hard times and unpredictable situations and provide concrete tools to help them tolerate and process the emotions they experience. Tiffany is passionate about helping individuals cope with depression, anxiety, relationship or family issues, trauma, and attachment trauma. In her work with couples, she primarily focuses on communication issues, parenting or co-parenting challenges, trauma, and recovering from infidelity in the relationship. Tiffany has a heart for the LGBTQ community and enjoys working with people who are questioning or needing support in being open about who they are, facing challenges as a non-binary or transgender person in their family or in our community, and helping individuals and couples with difficulties they are experiencing. Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family, appreciating music and art, running, being outside as much as possible, and drinking too much coffee. She and her husband run a small boutique farm in Waverly and use this as a way of connecting to nature and building community with others.
