My personal passion is to help others create freedom through movement. On my own path to healing, I've spent over a decade studying yoga, exercise, somatic therapy, nutrition & supplementation, Reiki & energy work, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. I believe that we are all multi-faceted beings and that how we are functioning in one area of our life has a direct effect on every other area of our life. When your body is healthy & thriving, you experience more mental & emotional balance. It's not just about looking your best, but also about feeling your best!
As a Yoga Instructor and Somatic Embodiment Facilitator, I take a holistic approach to exercise and nutrition. Workouts are fully customized to each client with consideration given to the intensity and types of movements that are both accessible and enjoyable, while still challenging enough to create the results they're looking for. I help my clients define measurable and realistic goals that create real results which extend beyond the scale, or how much they can bench press. I also believe that working out and achieving your personal fitness goals can be fun! I work with my clients to ensure that we're targeting their specific goals in a way that's sustainable and offers lifestyle balance. I provide my clients with the knowledge they need to maintain their fitness independently and empower them to continue their fitness journey long after we work together, so that they can enjoy the benefits of a healthier, happier lifestyle.

Kevin began noticing trends in overuse injuries with his personal training clients who were also endurance athletes. There are certain patterns with overuse injuries related to muscular dysfunction and movement pattern inefficiencies. These problems are quite typical and can be mitigated through a properly designed strength and mobility program. Kevin has since dedicated his career to helping people identify faulty patterns and create exercise programs to correct them. In 2016 Kevin relocated to Boulder Colorado to expand the work he started on Hilton Head Island. Kevin works with a broad range of individuals ranging from age group athletes to Olympians.
Kevin continues to seek and create relationships with experts in the medical, performance coaching, and personal development fields. he coordinates strength programming with some of the top endurance coaches in Boulder, as well as nationally and internationally. Kevin is a certified personal trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a certified run coach with the Road Runners Club of America, a certified Functional Movement Specialist in the FMS system, and a Certified Functional Strength Coach.

My name is Michael Butts, founder of Life with Adventure. I am a personal trainer living in Boulder, CO (a.k.a Adventure Town USA). I have been in love with fitness, travel and adventure my whole life. Throughout my 20's and early 30's I was fortunate enough to have traveled to over 40 countries. I love love love to travel and see new places. It was during my travels around the world that I decided to become a personal trainer. When I travel I like to stay in shape and work out in exotic places. Exercising has always given me the energy I need to see the world and experience more.
In addition to getting fitness and nutrition requests from friends, coworkers and other travelers, I have always been asked how I was able to travel so much. I do not come from a wealthy family. Quite the opposite. I remember bailing hay on a farm at 13 years old just to buy my own pair of wrestling shoes. I was tired of getting hand me down shoes from my older brother. I learned to simply work hard, save my money and the biggest factor, commitment. When I went on my first international trip I spent every penny I had saved on the plane ticket. I was committed. I knew I had 10 weeks to work hard and save as much money as I could before I flew to S.E. Asia. Make it so you have no other choice. Commit!

Nick specializes in full body strength and conditioning. He has been a trainer for over 20 years and emphasizes four components of holistic fitness: aerobic, strength, flexibility, and mind-body training. A typical session begins with a cardio warm-up, followed by full-body strength training, assisted stretching.
American Council On Exercise Certification A lifelong resident of Boulder, Colorado, Rick Jones has been a personal trainer since 1988. Over the past 34 plus years, Rick has studied sports medicine, kinesiology and exercise biomechanics - employing this education in his fitness regimen and in the training programs for athletes. Personal training programs designed and implemented by Rick revolve around five basic principles: cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, wise food consumption, supplement use and sound mind-body connection. As owner/operator of Customized Nutrition & Exercise, Rick trains more than 33-48 clients each week, ranging in age and ability level. He frequently serves as a guest lecturer and presenter for Boulder-based athletic organizations and is producing a fitness/lifestyle program for the CET 5. Rick is currently completing the book, "Quest For A Better Body" which outlines the many facets of healthy, purpose-driven lifestyle.

Tony is a Strongman athlete competing at the national level with 11 years of combined personal training and sports coaching experience. Working with clients of all ages and abilities, Tony is the coach for clients committed to making lasting changes to their lifestyle. Tony spent 2 years as a competitive powerlifter and competed in the USAPL CO State Championships before turning to Strongman. He has 5 years coaching experience at popular Boulder fitness studios including 1 year as head coach. Tony is obsessed with strength and believes that strength is for everyone and will make you better at everything. His focus is on proficiency in compound exercises that have the most carry over into all exercise and sport. Tony is a proven leader who is ready to help you manage everything from general health and fitness, movement patterns, nutrition and weight loss, and time spent in the gym, whether you want to compete or simply be in the best shape of your life.
A Boulder native, when he's not in the gym you'll find Tony playing video games or skateboarding with his rescue dog.
