Dr. Shannon, originally from Massachusetts, resides in Newport Beach, California. She graduated from Georgetown University, Washington DC with a B.S.N. and continued her education at Georgetown Medical School, Washington, DC where she obtained her medical degree. After serving eight years in the Navy in San Diego, California, Dr. Shannon decided to go into private practice. She is the founder of Coastline Dermatology Laser and Medical Center in Newport Beach, CA. Her sincere pride, passion and desire to be one of the best dermatologists possible resulted in the success of a 25+ year practice. Dr. Shannon is an exceptionally gifted surgeon specializing in Mohs' Surgery. She also loves the cosmetic side of dermatology and remains educated, trained and certified in all state of the art laser and cosmetic procedures available. Dr. Shannon spends most of her free time with her son and daughter, the loves of her life. She enjoys watching her daughter's volleyball and basketball games and encouraging them to make education their priority!
